Mainly because we have had so much going on. It's supposed to have been the wettest February in years and I'm not surprised! We have certainly seen a large amount of rain.</p><p>But we were amazingly lucky to have had our landscapers booked and arrive in the only rain free days in the last two weeks! </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjbQSfwQnFLE7kHAdEsTEG9Z-Lf5iI1puOOxRXvyQh4kdKYve2JolGM0-6mv4ZBDCMn84ix0BcWSmzzwvhIK7HhIaPQ_YC87qKETi3nAnLRuip7ztYhp6gy-EIOIvaJKweNxMxdd5JhcXnVbRRCNslbmAP1I9fu_raprOjgEzCtBDBY5ZwXAyVYUuFB0MU/s1920/IMG_5677.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1920" data-original-width="1080" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjbQSfwQnFLE7kHAdEsTEG9Z-Lf5iI1puOOxRXvyQh4kdKYve2JolGM0-6mv4ZBDCMn84ix0BcWSmzzwvhIK7HhIaPQ_YC87qKETi3nAnLRuip7ztYhp6gy-EIOIvaJKweNxMxdd5JhcXnVbRRCNslbmAP1I9fu_raprOjgEzCtBDBY5ZwXAyVYUuFB0MU/w360-h640/IMG_5677.JPG" width="360" /></a></div><p>So now we finally have a lovely space in the flower garden. Paul's been filling in the edges of the borders while we decided just where would be the best place for the four large blue pots. Also Paul decided he wanted to change the arbour bench seats and so two new ones are arriving on Monday and the old ones have been moved. One to the stone circle at the end of the garden and one to our next door neighbour. I will tell you more about the arbours at a later date.</p><p>All the kitchen cupboards are in and just a few little finishes to get done, then it's down to decorating the walls and I can then share a few photos. Now I am going to be up against the fact that the two new arbours will need painting a a few tweaks before they can be put up and in place. I had said that the whole of the kitchen needs to be done before we can move on to our things but I may just have to let Paul sort out the arbours before he wallpapers the walls in the kitchen. Only so that they can be put in place and be out of the way.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhbKME2KTqT0nDSZtHBeYEFYnrihbnihGngkEzN__m4bbMeBl6LbndZLmFNISATE1g65TO649vSnD_I4Pik-dBLsJyWHFEvvEqc1E_d8sQ8Oov6qb95cKPhM_a6eOO8RvDjiNtIDKv_nZ6aFx8-EVGKyf6dgUlhL5dTsN-cWrEBxDnxrdUNjvUBWuAYZu0/s5184/IMG_0766.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3888" data-original-width="5184" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhbKME2KTqT0nDSZtHBeYEFYnrihbnihGngkEzN__m4bbMeBl6LbndZLmFNISATE1g65TO649vSnD_I4Pik-dBLsJyWHFEvvEqc1E_d8sQ8Oov6qb95cKPhM_a6eOO8RvDjiNtIDKv_nZ6aFx8-EVGKyf6dgUlhL5dTsN-cWrEBxDnxrdUNjvUBWuAYZu0/w640-h480/IMG_0766.JPG" width="640" /></a></div><br /><p>Todays headliner is Beatty, who wanted to chat to the little angel in the flower garden to find out all the goings on! Well it's colder now than its been for a while. I think we are going to have a slightly colder March than we usually do, just like last year when winter seemed to arrive later.</p><p>Percy and Robyn are showing last years spring temperature but that was in April, it's been half that today 8 degrees and with a cold breeze. As long as there is no snow it will be lovely ;) </p>Deehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17421536902399459683noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7863721388345667033.post-77204377424200622342024-02-25T14:41:00.003+00:002024-02-25T14:41:21.744+00:00SNEAKY PEAKY SUNDAY<p> </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVqBrgn6MFflmb-3Rj9CGJlsSFIkalXNYt0bpLXG4w1td5F58lRmxNnQfbL6iZdH7kIT0Hbw_f76jDQgAXSyE0BviRTjgMhmLZ818JpHQXQahJU2J-Eu8IQTbvS12d8KTa_4_nw5cmLcZHUoysklI1RAYgLljGnsfaGNfuMrzDAppokdl1X5utEAlsLWA/s5184/IMG_1466.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3888" data-original-width="5184" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgVqBrgn6MFflmb-3Rj9CGJlsSFIkalXNYt0bpLXG4w1td5F58lRmxNnQfbL6iZdH7kIT0Hbw_f76jDQgAXSyE0BviRTjgMhmLZ818JpHQXQahJU2J-Eu8IQTbvS12d8KTa_4_nw5cmLcZHUoysklI1RAYgLljGnsfaGNfuMrzDAppokdl1X5utEAlsLWA/w640-h480/IMG_1466.JPG" width="640" /></a></div><br /><p></p><p>Well at last it is Sunday! We decided Sunday would be a day of rest, especially for Paul, who is working so hard on getting the new kitchen fitted in. At last all the units are in and the new ovens etc working. I may need to go to a evening class !, to be taught how to use these new fangled appliances ! But I'm sure it will be worth it in the end!</p><p>Paul's almost finished the build on the kitchen but as is usual with these things, there are extra's like repainting the old larder cupboard and decorating the kitchen walls etc. The wallpaper is here and it's the willow pattern, Paul's favoured one. I favoured the Marigold but Paul was not keen, if he's been saying either, it would be the Marigold but he wasn't so Willow won out.</p><p>We also changed the shade of green we had planned, due to the change of paper and that's set to arrive on Monday along with the paint for the larder cupboard.</p><p>Now you may remember just how much I love my kitchen cupboard handles and although we did go with new handles when we ordered the kitchen, I suggested to Paul we look at if the old handles would lift the kitchen from the ultra modern look. At first he was, no lets have a change, but then when we compared the old ones against the doors then the new ones, I'm pleased to say the vote went with the old handles!</p><p>And by the skin of our teeth, and taking the ones off the larder cupboard, we had just enough for all of the new kitchen doors and drawers! So I thought I'd let you have a sneaky peak at part of the kitchen since you have been waiting patiently ;)</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhpTrJ4VpGdyQWb9lBy_oq0zyU29qIhGUa0-UJ5Nesf8QV_6CAKpEuM91HhF4i2yY3OXS4FuProl4v2bEylWXS06_Ll8CL-3k7tQfx637NsG4_MhpQHonO0pDikn6uGKTGCdNtn2dLNRI6bvNtwoIHb1FWv59NpH6dq-7deNxaAhd0x1Y2-lYWqiq0DDc4/s3947/IMG_0739.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3199" data-original-width="3947" height="518" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhpTrJ4VpGdyQWb9lBy_oq0zyU29qIhGUa0-UJ5Nesf8QV_6CAKpEuM91HhF4i2yY3OXS4FuProl4v2bEylWXS06_Ll8CL-3k7tQfx637NsG4_MhpQHonO0pDikn6uGKTGCdNtn2dLNRI6bvNtwoIHb1FWv59NpH6dq-7deNxaAhd0x1Y2-lYWqiq0DDc4/w640-h518/IMG_0739.JPG" width="640" /></a></div><br /><p>You can still see the chaos behind this new peninsular, which I'm trying to tackle now that the boxes of kitchen parts are all open and used. Naturally we also have more things than can fit in the new cupboards, so plenty of decisions on what stays and what goes. Or if you are me, asking Paul to add more shelves using parts from the old kitchen, where possible.</p><p>Also on Friday the landscape garden people turned up to start on the flower garden circular paving area. Because Paul fitted the kitchen, we could have someone come and do the paving, a job Paul really didn't want to have to do.</p><p>Once it's done , it will mean there is a paved way from the house to the back gate and also another area that won't need lots of maintenance apart from a sweep now and then. It stops the dogs from churning up the grass that was there , turning it to mud as they chased each other round the circle. More about that on the garden blog.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_cR_yE93mLQoIpp7gEgsAjVx2yRsR-vGf5b4X-Mh6pgfKW5t5iB5Q8KXzE8BPk9RTChxd2jO2Ydb9ZVG-P5QufWA3ZIZ9uR_Wz-mZnw8sMhQ3LZhAsCHgABkjnLIXzmZJq8Izd2zgew6eq-UtoWDylQt9pX090pC-LCS3JQ-YIFBXq63pwv53oqMnOhc/s5184/IMG_0721.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3888" data-original-width="5184" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_cR_yE93mLQoIpp7gEgsAjVx2yRsR-vGf5b4X-Mh6pgfKW5t5iB5Q8KXzE8BPk9RTChxd2jO2Ydb9ZVG-P5QufWA3ZIZ9uR_Wz-mZnw8sMhQ3LZhAsCHgABkjnLIXzmZJq8Izd2zgew6eq-UtoWDylQt9pX090pC-LCS3JQ-YIFBXq63pwv53oqMnOhc/w640-h480/IMG_0721.JPG" width="640" /></a></div><br /><p>Another thing is, they hired a mini digger to remove all the earth for the mot and had a lorry with a grabber arrive to collect it from the end of the drive and was all done and the soil gone by midday!, We'd have been digging by hand and trying to scatter the extra soil round the garden which would have been hard and taken ages. </p><p>However we just have loads of cardboard and packing to recycle along with a load of old units! Still plenty to get on with but nothing like moving tons of earth, then bringing in tons of hardcore, then laying paving. This way the kitchens happening and will be in by middle of the week and so will the flower garden paving, perfect!</p><p>Our headliner today is Stevie, an old photo since too much is going on. Another week's vanished while Paul works on the kitchen but we are almost there with the new units going into place, the hob is up and running, the dishwasher is in and not up and running yet and the electrician will be back Tuesday to fit the ovens and finish all the electrics.</p><p>Which will then mean all the doors and drawers can be fitted and it will look like a kitchen and not a work in progress. There will still be more to do , so will be a while yet until it's all done.</p><p>Still the search continues for just the right Morris & Co wallpaper to lift the kitchen from the plain and bland to the next level. We are now looking at the third green colourway of Willow Brough and another pattern's arrived of Bird and Pomegranate with a dark blue background. It is slowly coming together but the light is a mere dot at the end of the tunnel!</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjxmIr2KQWZxiCqcdLh_ffafe40vUmhCpk0N0WYRGRHUejg6EgQDcHNTg_UDfpa4ulS-6kZcQP-94M5VworY9KWQvYkdsDtJpJ6WyWno78MCvc0eynB4DZWGOANe8r7Y5rVWzdeA3vwdJ5GbgYKdZ-gQ3P9db0ShrVh6Qemtc4AgS0ewmF_Sise0bTrdpU/s5184/IMG_0684.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3888" data-original-width="5184" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjxmIr2KQWZxiCqcdLh_ffafe40vUmhCpk0N0WYRGRHUejg6EgQDcHNTg_UDfpa4ulS-6kZcQP-94M5VworY9KWQvYkdsDtJpJ6WyWno78MCvc0eynB4DZWGOANe8r7Y5rVWzdeA3vwdJ5GbgYKdZ-gQ3P9db0ShrVh6Qemtc4AgS0ewmF_Sise0bTrdpU/w640-h480/IMG_0684.JPG" width="640" /></a></div><p>This is my beloved larder cupboard, that I made Paul move from the breakfast/dinning area of the room into this kitchen space. I love this cupboard, which Paul made for me to my design, with it's bi-fold doors and cherry wood shelves. I had a small dilemma today wondering if I should forsake my larder cupboard for a bigger maybe floor to ceiling step in one, where we could keep the toaster and coffee machine plugged in and ready for use along with the mixer etc.</p><p>However when working out what space would be left between a walk in cupboard and the side of the fridge freezer on the right hand wall , to enter via the kitchen door, it would be not a lot along with the fact that the walking cupboard would remove the openness of the space. If it was reduced in width, it could work but may be harder to enter and would still remove the openness of the space in the kitchen.</p><p>After talking it over with Paul, we decided to get rid of the coffee machine instead! ( I don't drink coffee and the machine only gets used now and then) so the cupboard is saved ! and will just have a makeover.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhjTr7EEAo08YgqdweT3P8eOfuvMIqjlPBbr8WFhBxqxOZUrrbH-F4nQcajXbGJYtJdL7N7oGDyMwkj_450z2D6yBr2jU-3_WU463J4kJfpvDKEflu0qpfMzB7veuLMOCKiR0-4r2MgIdewCOhL4z-bsEJ2owUAgBxvF1TawmVqLFNJxbDan0Bz03EwfpA/s5184/IMG_0688.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="5184" data-original-width="3888" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhjTr7EEAo08YgqdweT3P8eOfuvMIqjlPBbr8WFhBxqxOZUrrbH-F4nQcajXbGJYtJdL7N7oGDyMwkj_450z2D6yBr2jU-3_WU463J4kJfpvDKEflu0qpfMzB7veuLMOCKiR0-4r2MgIdewCOhL4z-bsEJ2owUAgBxvF1TawmVqLFNJxbDan0Bz03EwfpA/w480-h640/IMG_0688.JPG" width="480" /></a></div><p>Phew! I'm also stuck and not able to get on with much, so decided I'd share some wallpaper samples etc with you all.</p><p>Firstly the new kitchen units are in the colour bone! So basically white. Now we all know I'm never going to have a totally white kitchen and the only reason I landed up getting bone was because the greens they had available were either every dark green or greens that looked more grey! </p><p>So we will be putting in some dado height panelling on the pieces of wall that are not covered by the units and these will be painted green.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhpLREqBwzaxtTWWaH-RUHjOLmgF_5d0XOZP_h4-uLJ1W80YrzSsBtswEuqOdNrNYZZl1qrvB1rWxBfBmhcoiVkBVYcebokPfKRhr4qTXXSXCn8h0r0uY5_kGuHigANVbROIkb4epkfSEQnFwI3TMQSkuo6-ij1R4ZI1GOmBgXO0uM_8c1KQjLk5dBKxHE/s1080/IMG_5486.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="918" data-original-width="1080" height="544" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhpLREqBwzaxtTWWaH-RUHjOLmgF_5d0XOZP_h4-uLJ1W80YrzSsBtswEuqOdNrNYZZl1qrvB1rWxBfBmhcoiVkBVYcebokPfKRhr4qTXXSXCn8h0r0uY5_kGuHigANVbROIkb4epkfSEQnFwI3TMQSkuo6-ij1R4ZI1GOmBgXO0uM_8c1KQjLk5dBKxHE/w640-h544/IMG_5486.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /><p>We are going with Farrow and Ball Breakfast Room Green. I was also looking for a lavender/purple in which to paint the bottom half of my stand alone larder cupboard. Did consider the one above but then decided on another F&B colour.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYlH769ZHeb1fpZaBWxXf_SfnvZj5EG2wlJ2dOeAk6LizEyuPwQ9ygM34RLTSICUvFH7ynZr9Fx9Mtfl-wbTcu_vneCS1_HM_OPlR7Zom6XAwTzWXfqMUhpKRvmZXsDHXRPgLT2FIkF2vrhw6I33kMJwNyDTSrjBeXhDMNtzxKoMIqBGXEhZzmyyjEJj8/s4032/IMG_5528.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4032" data-original-width="3024" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYlH769ZHeb1fpZaBWxXf_SfnvZj5EG2wlJ2dOeAk6LizEyuPwQ9ygM34RLTSICUvFH7ynZr9Fx9Mtfl-wbTcu_vneCS1_HM_OPlR7Zom6XAwTzWXfqMUhpKRvmZXsDHXRPgLT2FIkF2vrhw6I33kMJwNyDTSrjBeXhDMNtzxKoMIqBGXEhZzmyyjEJj8/w480-h640/IMG_5528.jpg" width="480" /></a></div><br /><p>Brassica. I'm still to decide if we will just paint the bottom and leave the top cream or paint it all Brassica. I need to get a sample pot of the Brassica to be sure first.</p><p>Now, we are putting some panelling in the breakfast room side of the area which would also need painting and it turns out this green would also go well with the Morris and Co, Seaweed wallpaper in that room. The paint is darker than shown on the label and since there are a few different greens in the wallpaper it blends in well.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj5cIqVcVWVs8foAgFV1lM370FCIcPmxvq9WoFrWeFsFoPL7P77Vkif6Sf4nEm6idp4PkDPzFtfA5nxiAEQkUWa00oQyI00BckL__RM7TiM3OrQzjmD-UhsvJr0dcl__6s8i6ldQ5LplinnPZYJYUTJxIoiUM1nArGPnL75tv2Isp4ejYg151OFa_mYZNk/s1430/IMG_5485.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1430" data-original-width="1080" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj5cIqVcVWVs8foAgFV1lM370FCIcPmxvq9WoFrWeFsFoPL7P77Vkif6Sf4nEm6idp4PkDPzFtfA5nxiAEQkUWa00oQyI00BckL__RM7TiM3OrQzjmD-UhsvJr0dcl__6s8i6ldQ5LplinnPZYJYUTJxIoiUM1nArGPnL75tv2Isp4ejYg151OFa_mYZNk/w484-h640/IMG_5485.jpg" width="484" /></a></div><p>Which is helpful as we will only need to get one tin of paint to cover both jobs.</p><p>We are considering these wallpapers for the area of wall above the panelling in the kitchen.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi_2YqBwlMIFvapBsPpvSz06d6wLFemIOCaFx9QgQhq87MU8m_f0iGV64CAOwr1grENGlv3fTeNDXcMVsLHi7zooDD9Hm_GfnYyWr0sWnAJRMpkmgN2LEv5QluGG7XI-ih8LrCnFf30PK8FiloPpY21XYPUoRdYFfBpIaGO2SUuodImXVVgYtGbWqoRy8c/s1308/IMG_5526.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1308" data-original-width="828" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi_2YqBwlMIFvapBsPpvSz06d6wLFemIOCaFx9QgQhq87MU8m_f0iGV64CAOwr1grENGlv3fTeNDXcMVsLHi7zooDD9Hm_GfnYyWr0sWnAJRMpkmgN2LEv5QluGG7XI-ih8LrCnFf30PK8FiloPpY21XYPUoRdYFfBpIaGO2SUuodImXVVgYtGbWqoRy8c/w406-h640/IMG_5526.jpg" width="406" /></a></div><br /><p>or</p><p><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgOS0tN0Z1xVzO9js2McBkWKaIEOpY-NJwwbvd-i31CHxHqptl3IbzrakfT4fIi_8GrIP8wShZKwDvvglHl8z43IbngN7S0qmRBtRafmZ1ZVQsFCcj7k8ezKwuoOWMBX7fGfjT3b9nnvuUbvL6fQF6dX94t_N1gXWjFrtJFYt7AZ2gfQpBhVYPucFMjqGU/s1217/IMG_5472.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1217" data-original-width="828" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgOS0tN0Z1xVzO9js2McBkWKaIEOpY-NJwwbvd-i31CHxHqptl3IbzrakfT4fIi_8GrIP8wShZKwDvvglHl8z43IbngN7S0qmRBtRafmZ1ZVQsFCcj7k8ezKwuoOWMBX7fGfjT3b9nnvuUbvL6fQF6dX94t_N1gXWjFrtJFYt7AZ2gfQpBhVYPucFMjqGU/w436-h640/IMG_5472.jpg" width="436" /></a></div><br /><p>But will not be able to make a discission until the kitchens in and walls are cleaned of dust.</p><p>That's not to say we won't find a totally different one in between time!</p><p>Now since I was getting wallpaper samples for the kitchen, I added a few extra for our bedroom. Not that we've not been busy sorting out the kitchen.</p><p>More Paul , obviously than myself, whose taken out everything but the kitchen sink! Honest, well and the range is still in and connected, although with the electrician coming tomorrow, Monday, that will hopefully be disconnected and can then be moved out too, giving us open space.</p><p>But gradually Paul's been opening the boxes and making up the units ready for after the electricians done his first fix. He's also painted the ceiling, wile I have been on sweeping and moving/sorting duty along with making the tea!</p><p>I've also been sourcing the other bits and pieces we need to get the kitchen totally finished! Since we didn't completely finish the kitchen last time, we've agreed we done move on until it's complete! </p><p>Because we moved our larder cupboard from the breakfast/dinning area into the kitchen side, it meant we removed the cupboards and worktop, where I used to set up the Sashas living room ( I know I had to bite the bullet and accept it's not meant for my dolls ! ) But this means we also need to decorate that end of the room. But not before the kitchen is complete! More about that end when we get to it!</p><p>I've been having a bit of trouble with my left hand and the arthritis in it and have been wearing one of those fitted gloves, on that hand, which does help. Although with it's fingerless ends and only needing to use the one, can look like I'm a big Michael Jackson fan and am about to start moon walking!! I have to say that as old age begins to show it's face, I'm so much more understanding of just what things are effected if you don't have any strength in one of your hands. Which is very annoying as I'm only really a slip of a girl!!! </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEje4XtEK7wj_Oxe_w8OgDEDkR8UVlQ856KSlqgRyg__-aiwwWsfWHDyavaiEeDKmgt7zRdvHzZYHEpPyZTsAj3fnXGbRwUGadbNXRDSxeGS92nXs8suDlUOQXEz9yEJOR3OicRc_H-DX6m9wjKO1IoTXdezGJjWc1R2lqB2Mj6TKHv70w2JqFItJJ3h6C4/s4032/IMG_5499.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4032" data-original-width="3024" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEje4XtEK7wj_Oxe_w8OgDEDkR8UVlQ856KSlqgRyg__-aiwwWsfWHDyavaiEeDKmgt7zRdvHzZYHEpPyZTsAj3fnXGbRwUGadbNXRDSxeGS92nXs8suDlUOQXEz9yEJOR3OicRc_H-DX6m9wjKO1IoTXdezGJjWc1R2lqB2Mj6TKHv70w2JqFItJJ3h6C4/w480-h640/IMG_5499.jpg" width="480" /></a></div><br /><p>Todays headliners are Saffy and Lucas, who are watching events in the kitchen from the dresser and are no doubt now dust covered! Normally January appears to be a long month, yes I know it's still only 31 days but I think once Christmas and the New Year have been and gone and everyone's spent, eaten and drunk more than enough, January seems long and cold. But this year it's seemed to have rushed by! This could be because we've been busy sorting things out re the house, so had plenty to do.</p><p>Starting the month is Angela, my new girl who arrived this week at the end of January. Amazing how despite not intending to buy any dolls a couple have already arrived.</p><p>However Angela had a little bit of Fate attached to her! A few weeks back, my friend Gill had shared a photo of her Angela twins, that she'd had years back and seeing them reminded me just how much I'd liked my Angela back then but sold. The red hair and the blue eyes along with the lacy white dress. So I thought how I'd love to get another and did have a quick scout round ebay etc but nothing.</p><p>Then low and behold up one popped on the Sasha Bazaar! I quickly sent an email and luckily got in just in time. So an Angela returns to the Village clan.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjM7b9AzFi-JaLekWpc8qazlPHhaXWqwlh8iGuOZ44Epq1QWYGxlW2F1L7ePHyfROtamrVjufmsjo52XFYmJsRXxYGuvxMKrlDnnUC10Xl6ZloZ6aDZXoRxw-deLjBxQo9PI-SnyuqcJBazc3hrFA0eBWqt3hd7-VXtbjxaATkmMjtxkbC8JMI9Qc-FGCU/s4009/angela%20.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4009" data-original-width="2636" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjM7b9AzFi-JaLekWpc8qazlPHhaXWqwlh8iGuOZ44Epq1QWYGxlW2F1L7ePHyfROtamrVjufmsjo52XFYmJsRXxYGuvxMKrlDnnUC10Xl6ZloZ6aDZXoRxw-deLjBxQo9PI-SnyuqcJBazc3hrFA0eBWqt3hd7-VXtbjxaATkmMjtxkbC8JMI9Qc-FGCU/w420-h640/angela%20.jpg" width="420" /></a></div><br /><p>She is in minty condition and still has the tags attached to the back of her dress and her tube. So although unplanned , I'm very happy she's here.</p><p>So Photo day is on the fifth as usual. Please send your doll photos in.</p><p>Have a lovely healthy month</p>Deehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17421536902399459683noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7863721388345667033.post-80462453846053547812024-01-31T12:00:00.002+00:002024-01-31T12:00:37.963+00:00BOXES BOXES EVERYWHERE!<p> </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi9PMWif28RmX_LG5ajVbznWBN0BYySJ1DOJbXuQ0HEV8OMwHvPi23MoIseEEHWgvGl8eI1Pb5D99gn97X7qnq1NvjY-jhYMGs86SFSSX1oK8-WTiAHGURrE85MML1bC2433g5EPfB_AHk7hSSEWVk-eJ6sAKPw8p7PnW7pFLP89aggRc9hvcUoTIf_66A/s4032/kitchen%20new.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3024" data-original-width="4032" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi9PMWif28RmX_LG5ajVbznWBN0BYySJ1DOJbXuQ0HEV8OMwHvPi23MoIseEEHWgvGl8eI1Pb5D99gn97X7qnq1NvjY-jhYMGs86SFSSX1oK8-WTiAHGURrE85MML1bC2433g5EPfB_AHk7hSSEWVk-eJ6sAKPw8p7PnW7pFLP89aggRc9hvcUoTIf_66A/w640-h480/kitchen%20new.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /><p></p><p>So the new kitchen's arrived and the place is now covered in cardboard boxes! In the scheme of things the whole thing could be in within a few days, however we need to have some plug points moved etc, so we are waiting on our electrician to arrange the day he can arrive and do his part! </p><p>Which means we are doing what we can while we wait. The gazebo is full of boxes of china and glass and whatever else came out of the cupboards. The carport is full of the old units until we decide if any can be used in Paul's workshop, given away or need to be taken apart an taken to the recycling centre!</p><p>In my defence I have to say I was all for just replacing the worktops and cupboard doors while maybe replacing the existing range with a new one. It was Paul that wanted the new oven in an upright unit, which then had the knock on effect that then required just ripping the whole kitchen out and starting again!</p><p>Now if we can just get the electrician here to do his part, we will be up and running!</p><p><br /></p>Deehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17421536902399459683noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7863721388345667033.post-74559699152697575452024-01-28T15:00:00.000+00:002024-01-28T15:00:07.204+00:00STARTING THE CHANGES <div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhM6A4z13FHB1jkYn3rMvvaBT5ntm4BXMKVQcN5s-RnAuwRIV-K4rd1K39cbZfLX028wuA3EhbmIarGK-c4df4zebhEzYFHhozJcwpmprDknPtZe_JCERfRLbaRVVFiYLQBT9-3gKSstuKJg5yTsEFNnyk94kCf6LU005zONzIgE-hptkGuFdMj5KVhNAg/s4032/zac%201.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4032" data-original-width="3024" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhM6A4z13FHB1jkYn3rMvvaBT5ntm4BXMKVQcN5s-RnAuwRIV-K4rd1K39cbZfLX028wuA3EhbmIarGK-c4df4zebhEzYFHhozJcwpmprDknPtZe_JCERfRLbaRVVFiYLQBT9-3gKSstuKJg5yTsEFNnyk94kCf6LU005zONzIgE-hptkGuFdMj5KVhNAg/w480-h640/zac%201.jpg" width="480" /></a></div><br /><p><br /></p><p> Well the new years changes are happening ! Probably because it's a deeper pile than the last one, so much more cosy for a snooze.</p><p>Now I thought I'd save Paul a job and sell my big kitchen table and eight chairs and buy a second hand old style oak extending table and four chairs. But I'd need a sixth chair, i had my desk chair I could use, if we extending the table for more visitors. Naturally being me, I went looking for suitable chairs having seen a lovely oak table with four matching chairs that I had my eye on and having listed my table and chairs on marketplace.</p><p>I saw the perfect old oak chair that just needed a new seat cushion and a little TLC in the clean and waxing of the wood, so I asked about delivery and made an offer. Which was accepted and the chair was on it's way. In between time, I'd shown the table to someone who was interested in buying, only while I was showing them I'm thinking, this is a good sturdy set which I still really like and maybe I should just have Paul cut the table down and sell just two of the chairs! Yes you've guessed it! That's what we did, keep our table and cut it down.</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiKe2KAsFkWscqoJJRlpntYuuNtUCa0MJQvoXYYdMgPCeYJ1G3eYwNuVQE90FaN6OZVWQf-sKTMmKdhzBd_kwxgre2ElDJ2JQYPuU8dI_hTnTQw5_-faQZ7LSMTtlSLSmm35VpI1mCSX6XK94skxEgZyKS5rLxbcLLMJTKk0UFWMGfTRgB94YqsGHXCsJo/s4032/big%20table.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3024" data-original-width="4032" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiKe2KAsFkWscqoJJRlpntYuuNtUCa0MJQvoXYYdMgPCeYJ1G3eYwNuVQE90FaN6OZVWQf-sKTMmKdhzBd_kwxgre2ElDJ2JQYPuU8dI_hTnTQw5_-faQZ7LSMTtlSLSmm35VpI1mCSX6XK94skxEgZyKS5rLxbcLLMJTKk0UFWMGfTRgB94YqsGHXCsJo/w640-h480/big%20table.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /><p>So Paul took the table apart and we went from this to </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgbF0Naf1UOn6hVAzwE3BkydKEMM2sICX3mDHbY4sij0xyWBtHsSrcjAVQ_-gTVbB8Z4c78mv9Ml8dfT8QSz0j3CVoBXmWqzUnfyGU8Ns51cpk3ASjpZuv8SHw59IFaHj-1l2aIinuzKSOAiyEMHIbE9cI7LaQZ7l_uyHIPALX7Obimc5uFOILNFFxGF-E/s3207/shorter.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3207" data-original-width="2997" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgbF0Naf1UOn6hVAzwE3BkydKEMM2sICX3mDHbY4sij0xyWBtHsSrcjAVQ_-gTVbB8Z4c78mv9Ml8dfT8QSz0j3CVoBXmWqzUnfyGU8Ns51cpk3ASjpZuv8SHw59IFaHj-1l2aIinuzKSOAiyEMHIbE9cI7LaQZ7l_uyHIPALX7Obimc5uFOILNFFxGF-E/w598-h640/shorter.jpg" width="598" /></a></div><br /><p>this. Seems this is to be the ninth storm to hit the UK in a short space of time! The wind's already picking up but thankfully we don't have any plans for Monday, so will just need to batten down the hatches as they say and wait it out.</p><p>The work on the house is slowly moving forward and deliveries are happening earlier than stated! Which is great. The new sofa's are due to arrive this week, so yesterday we went looking for a new rug, to help tie them into the room. That's now coming on same day as the sofa's. The old sofa is being taken away and we put an ad to give an unneeded arm chair away which was collected this morning,</p><p>Meanwhile the new kitchen is being delivered at the end of the month, so we have an electrician coming to see about moving/adding some plug points etc and we've already moved some of the old kitchen across the room, so we can use it while the new kitchen gets fitted. </p><p>So it's all happening ! I can still remember all the fuss about it turning to the year 2000! Everybody was expecting tech to fail and all the businesses prepared for the fallout that never happened.. or maybe it was just eight years late?</p><p>I've been unwell on and off since the end of last year but am now ,hopefully, on the mend, fingers crossed! But it's not stopped me from getting a few things sorted since the start of the year. </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi92ESu_LCuXm6EnL3544aIvsTd0R_LqQFvetqzGigT5iR0GogySaA7KbXW7_zwtjO9lhdxCy1DlLByYcOiuZeflUM3RCxAXpaAL9IIACMF1K1s4hug5pTQNYd5e0Hz1oMYGJ7yoZ18glhgmR-CXOTK4aBtNHnaAPO-fSTGy9zFNmM-VTsb40Mh5inhdyU/s1784/IMG_5270.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1784" data-original-width="1080" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi92ESu_LCuXm6EnL3544aIvsTd0R_LqQFvetqzGigT5iR0GogySaA7KbXW7_zwtjO9lhdxCy1DlLByYcOiuZeflUM3RCxAXpaAL9IIACMF1K1s4hug5pTQNYd5e0Hz1oMYGJ7yoZ18glhgmR-CXOTK4aBtNHnaAPO-fSTGy9zFNmM-VTsb40Mh5inhdyU/w388-h640/IMG_5270.JPG" width="388" /></a></div><br /><p>Before 2024 we did order a couple of sofas in the sales, above is the fabric choice of each one. Totally changed from original plan but luckily the living room is quite neutral and will only involve a couple of tweaks to smooth them into the scheme.</p><p>I don't know about others but almost as soon as the year changes, so I start thinking about what needs doing and this year is no different. Almost no different , because we are planning some big changes indoors, the photo below is how the breakfast/dinning area looked last year</p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjY5wssLf8E4E4c498VK5aHBhp5Yodr65_ohzT7NFkhBubzetrUTxEMlBPJZX_UP5FpFuSLD7BCK5KzXemXjGwWpvicsWsI_56lROtx67AhPbS0dKVnklNyO5pfKgbrIPTJJiX8Qcs-bpP3SA2ID2qheAKO-7twpLSCChDHkBTLKsoksG6Ch1CQJEE1x2o/s1920/breakfast%20room%20area.JPG" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1080" data-original-width="1920" height="360" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjY5wssLf8E4E4c498VK5aHBhp5Yodr65_ohzT7NFkhBubzetrUTxEMlBPJZX_UP5FpFuSLD7BCK5KzXemXjGwWpvicsWsI_56lROtx67AhPbS0dKVnklNyO5pfKgbrIPTJJiX8Qcs-bpP3SA2ID2qheAKO-7twpLSCChDHkBTLKsoksG6Ch1CQJEE1x2o/w640-h360/breakfast%20room%20area.JPG" width="640" /></a></div><br /><p>but now it looks like this..</p><p><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi_DstgAjyajxD6YAxk-PSJIz9_m-7yHRE15rZTVdsvqHTaQt0LqRrTULHs26B_-eyI0odvbWE2V_-lKHJ6DWzdS31UNpEm3LrJbCa3z6txwugYltHspXhNJpUJd8e7hGTEkf_MAskHie6YBrvF8rgcTjn_0xUnENdLTsWThKVRCvwCmwcY_67tauUURIU/s4032/jan%202024.jpg" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4032" data-original-width="3024" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi_DstgAjyajxD6YAxk-PSJIz9_m-7yHRE15rZTVdsvqHTaQt0LqRrTULHs26B_-eyI0odvbWE2V_-lKHJ6DWzdS31UNpEm3LrJbCa3z6txwugYltHspXhNJpUJd8e7hGTEkf_MAskHie6YBrvF8rgcTjn_0xUnENdLTsWThKVRCvwCmwcY_67tauUURIU/w480-h640/jan%202024.jpg" width="480" /></a></div><br /><p>because it's all change! We have removed the larder cupboard, which I am pleased to say we have repositioned into the main kitchen area, however that's involved moving the fridge freezer to where the larder cupboard used to stand until the rest of the kitchen is replaced. It's meant my 'doll' area is no longer!! Shame but needs must. It's enabled us to turn the table and open up the space in front of the french doors. Naturally one of the three lights that were above the table is in the way for tall people, no me, but its been tied up after Paul smacked his head on it twice !</p><p>Paul's made every kitchen but one, in our 48 years of marriage, so I thought it was time he didn't have to make this new one, however alas he's not escaping completely as he will be fitting it! It's on order but there will be plenty to do before it arrives. One of which is take up the floor tiles! A nightmare of a job which we are hoping will be easier than expected! </p><p>We have also had to move the small freezer, which was always meant to be hidden inside a cupboard along with the boiler! Now just the boiler needs hiding in the cupboard. As is usual when doing these things, you have to empty cupboards etc and realise just how much stuff you own and never use or don't really need! The local charity shops will soon be awash with lovely unused or nearly new items to fill their shelves and rails in the coming weeks!</p><p>There is a programme in the uk where a lady called Stacey Solomon comes along with her team and empties everything you own into a massive warehouse and then you have to decide what goes back home, what gets sold and what goes to charity. I sometimes think that would be so useful to have a team of people take all my stuff to a warehouse and then only be allowed to take so much of it back home! I'd need my eldest daughter with me as she's very good at getting rid of things and only keeping what's used and needed, but I could see us having a tug of war over things I think I need to keep! If I tell you I have just counted 21 bags for life ( shopping bags you can use again and again ) but have another load in the cupboard you may understand the problem! Here in the uk, it's more grey cold days at present with only the odd burst of sunshine but the shortest day's been and gone, so the days will get longer and hopefully brighter.</p><p>Here in the Sasha village it's going to be the year of the house and garden, well I say garden but in truth it's always the year of the garden because something always needs doing!</p><p>But now we are getting older and so are some of the things in the house, so we will be having some work done to get the place sorted for our old age! </p><p>It's also appears to be a green year with a splash of lavender/ purple! One of the first things we have done, even before this new year started, was to go and order two new sofas for out living room. I'd already seen and decided on which style of sofa I wanted but needed to go to a showroom and try it out and see it in the 'flesh' so to speak. Now as you will all know, what something looks like in a magazine or advert, can look a lot different when seen for real.</p><p>I have seen a year or so back an armchair in a beautiful William Morris fabric, in a golden yellow which I loved and then they started showing it in a red version. Perfect I thought! I could have one of the sofas in the WM fabric in red and another in a plain red to compliment it. So sat on sofas, got a swatch of the colours, got a price, but was going to wait for the sales to start after Christmas before placing order.</p><p>But even while I was in the showroom, I stated that the swatch of fabric was different to the colours in the armchair advert photos, oh no they say it's just how it's been lit! Yeah right. So once back home I looked at the fabric and decided that it was nothing like the fabric on the advert and if I did order a sofa in it, I would be bitterly disappointed in what arrived! I had also suggested to Paul about having two different sofa's, which he'd disagreed with at the time. Another thing about taking some time to decide. allowed me to realise that we were about to buy sofas in almost exactly the same colour we always seemed to have bought our sofas in! </p><p>So once the sales started we went back to the showroom, but took Lindsey with us, to have a sounding board, a great help. She agreed that two different sofa's would work which allowed me to have a beautiful checked fabric I'd seen that wouldn't work on the bigger sofa due to lining up but would work on the second smaller sofa, then I found the perfect swatch! Gorgeous greens with a splash of lavender! It sang to me! So once that was decided on, it was easy then to get the bigger sofa in plain Lavender! A big change from the deep burgandy red of our original choice! It means we may have to tweak the room slightly, since it's mainly blue and red but so be it!</p><p> </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiDPVRpo-_hSqEi1i4Opyp6EDSfOI1k73oU_gwhxAsjhI45cv-9aYZOHWHgnrWPeDutjfK7Jrvvi-AEOVlb8XoV82DW3N_AO0izISdW08Mfy2IK9Sd4RnAPDmrL6Qgf6VkI76UvQ53MJDCoZrv4cDJZfokpZe8S883tvnrGzG8eqspYd19J539Hgjoahds/s5184/IMG_0644.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="5184" data-original-width="3888" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiDPVRpo-_hSqEi1i4Opyp6EDSfOI1k73oU_gwhxAsjhI45cv-9aYZOHWHgnrWPeDutjfK7Jrvvi-AEOVlb8XoV82DW3N_AO0izISdW08Mfy2IK9Sd4RnAPDmrL6Qgf6VkI76UvQ53MJDCoZrv4cDJZfokpZe8S883tvnrGzG8eqspYd19J539Hgjoahds/w480-h640/IMG_0644.JPG" width="480" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div>Libby and Magda wearing this years house colours. One of the reasons I say it's going to be the year of green and lavender/purple is the kitchen! Yes I know we did start but ever really finished the kitchen and I was very happy with my deep dark blue cupboard doors, however it's not been finished and over the last year I have decided that it's too dark and needs a total refit! I know I know again! But yes it does and funnily enough I decided that a mid to pale green would be the answer to brightening it up! This was before the sofa colourway was decided! In fact I looked at lilac's and lavender too! <p></p><p>Now it seams that the breakfast kitchen area of the downstairs is to be completely changed about and cupboards etc moved and changed made. Naturally I'm all ready to empty cupboards and start moving things that we can, while Paul's we need to order in the new appliances and units etc before we start! Mmm , so I have started emptying a few cupboards of things we never use, so the local charity shops will be getting some good quality kitchen/dinning items over the next few weeks and if a small cupboard finds it's self suddenly moved across the floor so I can 'see' if an idea will work, well it must need doing!</p><p>On the doll front, I nearly ended the year on a new doll purchase but it was half hearted, so I was outbid ! A shame she was a nice doll but it wasn't meant to be. Everything else is calm and still in my doll world at present and likely to stay that way for a while , what with my tooth extraction happening on Wednesday, and the house refurb decisions being made, but hopefully the Sasha will be appearing on and off over these coming winter months. I will do doll photo day again this year on the fifth of each month, you are welcome to join in if you have time to take or send in a photo.</p><p>Now I'm off to find somewhere I can store all the things that will need moving while we pull the downstairs apart over the next few months.</p><p>Wishing you all a happy healthy fun filled 2024</p><p>Dee</p>Deehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17421536902399459683noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7863721388345667033.post-12956302636877758692024-01-01T15:03:00.002+00:002024-01-01T15:03:23.927+00:002024 HAPPY NEW YEAR<p> </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjEohbqSgKkm-MwhHfSp73m1VaejCFC9g8v1-rXVQmSoxjle8rqYQDdWeH0dALg07IyiaITaofShdSwIWIatVpkXNd_0IQ2JHG0J_KgC-5FKF8FCmGSEhqzNZV9ApcD9Kxvgzk7xI3hNCda-Om0rCoCEyGbvI_RkaOIO1-LUmn4QiRV_drc1738aJ1bWO4/s5184/IMG_0648.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3888" data-original-width="5184" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjEohbqSgKkm-MwhHfSp73m1VaejCFC9g8v1-rXVQmSoxjle8rqYQDdWeH0dALg07IyiaITaofShdSwIWIatVpkXNd_0IQ2JHG0J_KgC-5FKF8FCmGSEhqzNZV9ApcD9Kxvgzk7xI3hNCda-Om0rCoCEyGbvI_RkaOIO1-LUmn4QiRV_drc1738aJ1bWO4/w640-h480/IMG_0648.JPG" width="640" /></a></div><br /><p></p><p>WISHING EVERYONE A HAPPY AND HEALTHY NEW YEAR</p><p><br /></p>Deehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17421536902399459683noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7863721388345667033.post-74250964023679119312023-12-25T10:52:00.001+00:002023-12-25T10:52:15.248+00:00MERRY CHRISTMAS<p> </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgm7MnlgMAoxOJBc3OnTI140zgmquFgEmJp0ickG_urKMYPpK-w3DRAWty9vUERoniKeDzjyc_Di0KSRnDmkNbSBUVpLcSDISFXrd_lwByhMeFE5zJzbJDOsnXVC590EAjKEQDQn92mCzF35JNeAuhU_hNPjN-_WAqrgvruY29XwgVSln51oaC__iSWA8w/s4032/e%20.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3024" data-original-width="4032" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgm7MnlgMAoxOJBc3OnTI140zgmquFgEmJp0ickG_urKMYPpK-w3DRAWty9vUERoniKeDzjyc_Di0KSRnDmkNbSBUVpLcSDISFXrd_lwByhMeFE5zJzbJDOsnXVC590EAjKEQDQn92mCzF35JNeAuhU_hNPjN-_WAqrgvruY29XwgVSln51oaC__iSWA8w/w640-h480/e%20.jpg" width="640" /></a></div><br /><p></p><p>WISHING YOU ALL A MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM THE SASHA VILLAGE CLAN</p>Deehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/17421536902399459683noreply@blogger.com4tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7863721388345667033.post-42684654339531539892023-12-21T17:05:00.002+00:002023-12-21T17:05:30.730+00:00CAMELS AND SNOWMEN THE PERFECT CREW!<p> </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjw2QAnAUurfIzPe890Rb8dUNrZZ4DhD1THybNAih5WXS11MZQOT4VOPUU3ZH-MyT7FbsajTX7bZOD7BXZv6QrxbOJE0NStfibLuneMU8GEyv8JiqRUZYLec2C4vUpi6I1t09DE3qzBGp611avSbC5tuifK21GDsJ4tAQwjJzMl05OeR43DkfmMttrtWE8/s5184/IMG_0637.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="3888" data-original-width="5184" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjw2QAnAUurfIzPe890Rb8dUNrZZ4DhD1THybNAih5WXS11MZQOT4VOPUU3ZH-MyT7FbsajTX7bZOD7BXZv6QrxbOJE0NStfibLuneMU8GEyv8JiqRUZYLec2C4vUpi6I1t09DE3qzBGp611avSbC5tuifK21GDsJ4tAQwjJzMl05OeR43DkfmMttrtWE8/w640-h480/IMG_0637.JPG" width="640" /></a></div><br /><p></p><p>Only Lucas could have a baby camel and several snowmen in his 'crew' </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-N2np78z0DPf0_hTCKKK8bGnYUaXq_jVSak4v_zfGKgFxGzLVvOgKj6AMASOX0X8VZWrY1IoXyoLCz4-PuGKlEKuOacrpBo6M0jb1kU2u7I_IITNoPbolqcjB0kTk6JbyLxFV9EFGelYor1Yf4_9B5zJ8_iwVxIVQ_nwuNS_FHLmluzdJ7rjNHnpOXcE/s4959/IMG_0640.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="4959" data-original-width="3888" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi-N2np78z0DPf0_hTCKKK8bGnYUaXq_jVSak4v_zfGKgFxGzLVvOgKj6AMASOX0X8VZWrY1IoXyoLCz4-PuGKlEKuOacrpBo6M0jb1kU2u7I_IITNoPbolqcjB0kTk6JbyLxFV9EFGelYor1Yf4_9B5zJ8_iwVxIVQ_nwuNS_FHLmluzdJ7rjNHnpOXcE/w502-h640/IMG_0640.JPG" width="502" /></a></div><br /><p>My only worry is just what can one small boy, his dog, baby camel and a few snowmen get up to? The tree is up and decorated and the lights twinkling away. So that's a start. I have so gathered some greenery and made a spray for the front door, so that's also in place, along with some bears guarding the fire and a soldier assisting them. </p><p>I have finally ordered a fairy to top the Christmas tree, along with a Christmas tree skirt for the base, so finally the tree will be topped and tailed! Only taken 48 years! Well I did have some Christmas fabric I'd just throw round the base and there must have been something on the top? years back but it's been pretty much forgotten about for at least the last twenty years or so.</p><p>There is a lovely shop just along in the next town, which fills all it's shelves and space with Christmas decorations at this time of year and we will be taking a trip there this week, to maybe buy a bauble or two. I'll take some photos to share in the week.</p><p>I have bought all the Christmas presents and they just need wrapping and labelling and then that's done. The food is on order to be delivered, so far so good.</p><p>I was thinking about maybe getting the tooth sorted before Christmas as I was feeling a bit better in myself but now have a little nagging pain in my side!! Honest my body seems to be working against me at present!</p><p>Today we have my first ever Sasha the lovely Liberty, or Libby as she's known. </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhOd3DbDN96oQ4k8gCm-FBW_oXWMcYBIfmnAznOWhAkXJi6swmk_HzlV9eh6Wyf3Sn7yFSfs-pzOfxO6fWo2IfIR0dVFrnfr_JIiLtrvdr2IIomxTlVcjY6QkbJ9llaFdM7RjHTq-SfhfdM7lBZi_h7Bg7c-jLDtgHPgaOA6QPIfH1TGggyxQxgerYs3mk/s5184/IMG_0563.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="5184" data-original-width="3888" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhOd3DbDN96oQ4k8gCm-FBW_oXWMcYBIfmnAznOWhAkXJi6swmk_HzlV9eh6Wyf3Sn7yFSfs-pzOfxO6fWo2IfIR0dVFrnfr_JIiLtrvdr2IIomxTlVcjY6QkbJ9llaFdM7RjHTq-SfhfdM7lBZi_h7Bg7c-jLDtgHPgaOA6QPIfH1TGggyxQxgerYs3mk/w480-h640/IMG_0563.JPG" width="480" /></a></div><p>She is wearing a pale mint green needlecord dress by Ginny, standing in some sun a few weeks back, when I remembered I'd change the girls and not photographed them.
