Today i used my short haired sasha doll to do some modelling of some bolero's and hats that i have listed on ebay.They went very well with the dress that she was wearing by Frances a very talented dressmaker, who uses the most lovely fabrics for her designs.In the picture above Dusty is wearing a set in a beautiful cotton colourway vintage rose which picks up the pink in her dress.
Dusty is named for the sixty's singer Dusty Springfield , who i met when i was about nine or ten outside the London Paladium one night in the sixty's. And as soon as i saw this sasha the name Dusty fit her so well, her hair style is very much like Dusty's of that time.
