HEY SARAH WHAT DO YOU SAY........

I was looking through some photo files and I found this wonderful photo of Ellen Church's No navel girls....

Love that they are all wearing the same style of blouses and skirts but in different colours and prints....so

Sarah I was thinking this would be good to do in DUNGAREES!!!!!......

  1. -that would be wondeful, but I think I'd like to see a row of girls in her wool coats left partly unbuttoned with dresses peeking out even more.

    1. Yes that sounds good too! but dresses and coats......lottery win required!Lol

But If you manage it send me the photo and I will put it on the blog :)

    2. I don't have to worry about winning the lottery, I've ever gotten lucky enough to even purchase one set :(
I suppose I shouldn't complain too too much as I have been able to purchase two dresses (no coats) in the past. I'm still crossing my fingers that I will see a coat and dress listing before it's snatched up by some lucky soul (put me down for one of her delightful retro dresses as well).

    3. That is the problem, if I may call it that, with VS you start by wanting one thing and land up with wanting everything!!! lol

  2. Yep, put me down for a Green set or Lilac or Pink or.....the list is endless.

  3. A truely wonderful line up!

I think that Sarah did this with her last listing of ten/twelve? pairs of her Dungarees in simply delightful colours....the only difference being in that they were bought by individual buyers!

    1. That's the problem, we need ten /twelve No Navels all dressed in the fabulous Sarah's dungarees..lined up for a photo shoot!!!

      I'm on the case.. :)

  4. Pleased to hear that YOU are on the case as I certainly can't be if 10/12 No-navels are required as well as the dungarees!
The only way that I could help is by loaning my three NN girls wearing some of the VS dungarees already here to join forces with yours....and maybe Gills and Sarahs!

    1. That's an idea Kendal if you take a photo of your girl's in Sarah's dungarees and send it to me, I can add them to line up of the other NN's in Vs dungs!!!
      the plan is coming together!!!!

    2. Right! Will do.
I have three No-navel girls, two blondes 1969 (blue eyes) and 1970 (with brown eyes)and one brunette 1969 with brown eyes.
As for the dungarees I know that I definitely have Sarah's very first three quarter length denim pair with a red checked blouse and matching hair ribbons, a pale pink cotton set and a similar peach cotton pair plus a purple linen set. Unfortunately sold on the lilac cotton pair on a doll the other week and gave another dark denim set (with the original hem of the re-cycled garment) as a birthday present to a dear friend who had been patiently waiting to buy some for over two years.
My beige cotton pair was sold on on a Jackie re-rooted Gregor over a white vest ....but I could even have a brighter pink linen pair tucked away in their boxes.

What backgrounds are we going for? Grey? White? Natural greenery or can you cut out and superimpose like my daughter can?

    3. Great Kendal go with the bright coloured dungarees on the girl's and use a white background which will help with the mixing, my daughter Lindsey is computer wiz so I will get her to gather them all together....looking good......

    4. OK. Will set to but give me a couple of days to try to find another white background as I only have the white towel one here at the moment.
Will do my three No-navels in three pairs of my VS dungarees.

    5. thank you Kendal, any plain unfussy background will do.

  5. Well, good idea, but how are you going to manage to buy all these dungarees made by Sarah??? No sooner does she put them on, they are gone! You'd be hard pressed to get one of them, Dee!!! Maybe someone could let me into the secret of how to 'bag' a VS outfit! I am always tooo late!!! Nice thought, though! xxx Karin

    1. Hopefully Gill and Michelle and Kendal all have some dungaree sets by VS, so that will save trying to get in quick...although I am still determined to obtain a few more1 I have managed to buy a set second hand off Shelly's site, so that could be a way to go Karin!

  8. Oh my! So beautiful - isn't it a good thing Sashas keep their clothes clean, their shoes unscuffed and never grow out of any outfits? Can you imagine replacing shoes, washing clothes and dropping hem lines for all these little sweethearts?
It's all Ellen's fault - I am not owned by a single no navel and now I want one...or two... or three, along with a Gotz unisex and a boy like Kendal's Fritz and... and... and... Well, it is Mothering Sunday, all I want is to mother a few more Sashas...

  10. Hi Dee, I am guilty as charged. You can blame it all on me. The no navels have such a unique personality and sweet face that I can't resist them..and they love to be dressed alike at times. I, too, have never been able to buy a VS outfit. Unless one is on line the moment they are listed it is out of the question and I have never been that lucky. So, I admire the clothing on other's dolls and on the web.
