Well it's the 2nd of March.. which I believe to be a SPRING month...... however it would seem that this year Spring is still somewhere in the Bahamas enjoying a break, while the Siberian winter weather sweeps through the United Kingdom ! and we are very united this week in the awful weather we are getting from top to bottom and from both sides!
The only person willing to brace against the weather and come outside with me for a brief moment was Christy!
It's been snowing all afternoon , so she insisted on having a stand so that she didn't fall over in the snow.
Especially because her strings are not what they used to be and she now likes to suddenly look down!
Over an inch has already fallen in the last few hours and it's still going steady.
The poor gargoyles are feeling the chill
so is St Joan !
We were soon hurry can indoors.
Once back indoors Christy gets a shock!
"MUM! We've been robbed!"
********************************************************************************
We didn't have any snow yet in our part of Southern Germany, but last week was freezing cold, and the forecast said ice rain for tonight or tomorrow.
ReplyDeleteThat's not what I expect of March either!
I hope you have not been robbed, but Mrs. Mum cleared the space for some pretty re-decorating.
The UK's been covered in the snow from top to bottom and we've not been too bad , some places have had enormous snow drifts of 9 foot! icy rain does not sound good!
DeleteI hope so too ! It would be hard to find all those small sized things again! ;)
Oh Dear! Three thoughts come to mind:
ReplyDelete1. Uncle Alphonso's revenge.
2. Granny Fortuna had an end-of-season sale that got out of hand.
3. Simply sent her army of toddlers over to plunder the furniture.
Steve
Very funny...no, really it made me laugh...and for the record I haven't sent army of toddlers over to Dee's...little rascals refused to go out in the snow.....
DeleteMy money is on BRUNO looting the place...I knew that boy was up to no good :)
1/ Uncle Alphonso... probably in prison by now with his dodgy practices!
Delete2/ Granny Fortuna having a sale? could be! oh no! I hope I can find all the things if she did!and buy them back
3/ Simple army of Ice maidens and boys.... no they've have scribbled on the wall illiterate comments .. they cannot spell she's doesn't let them go to school they could turn out nice!! :)
Made me laugh too! ;) I wondered why they'd not invaded! refused to go out in the snow! and you the Ice Queen... your letting things slip over there!
DeleteBruno ! Warm your mouth up with a cuppa! Such a statement about that sweet child..shame on you get back to your ice cauldron you've missed covering a very small part of the uk with your snow blast! I'm not saying where, you can find it yourself.. ;)
How about Spring cleaning underway by Mum? Time to clean from top to bottom?? After all, it is March whether it snows or not....
ReplyDeletePlease tell Christie that I think she is very brave to go out into snowy elements. She is beautiful and I love her outfit especially her boots! 😊 xxx
Could be Ginger! Mind you there is no sign of Spring here at the moment, we appear to be doing winter part two!
DeleteShe was very brave especially with her dodgy strings, needed a stand just to stop her trying for a snow angel pose!;) xx
That is a lot of snow Dee, I don't envy you one bit .... brrrrr!
ReplyDeleteChristy looks lovely and warm and toasty in her nice outfit, so I agree with her, she wouldn't want to fall on her face and then ruin it. Far better to be safe than sorry and keep with the stand.
WOW, I wonder who's taken all the stuff!!!!
xxx
It is Sharon but thankfully not as bad as some other places in UK.
DeleteShe is becoming a nightmare to stand , she keeps bending at the waist! I may have to restring her !
Me too ! wonder whose taken the stuff! ;) xx
