NOT SASHA'S BUT

 KATHE KRUSE DOLLS.

Finally after a month's journey my two old Kathe Kruse dolls have arrived home.

They are both 20 inches tall and lovely. I will need to sort out some new clothes for them, the boy is wearing his orginial outfit which I will put away once it's been carefully cleaned. His shoes are very fragile.

The girl's oufit is not orginial , so I will make her something new to wear for the winter or maybe give Ruth a call. She didn't have any shoes, so I will need to find her some shoes and socks.

So I just need to find out some more about when they were born and what names they would like.

  1. They're lovely kids. He has an especially suave, urbane look about him, as if he's about to say, "Tennis anyone, or shall we go for a spin in my roadster?" I don't know much about KK dolls, but the sure look pretty early to me.

    1. Thanks. he does doesn't he! I can just see him with his sweater tied over his shoulders standing with his hands in his pockets chatting to his friends!
Someone as said they are from the 1940's which is nice if so.

  2. They are marvelous! Little sister looks slightly younger than her bro, who has that serious vintage look - my older KK girl can wear not too tight shoes I bought for Sasha (Wagner boots look great on her). So I believe you'll be able to round up footwear for both of them!
Strangely, KK feet seem to have grown over the years, and my 1980s girl can't share Sasha shoes.

    1. Thanks Ursula. someone on the fb Kk groups says they are from the 1940's which would be nice if correct.
That's interesting about the shoes, I will need to search through my stash when I have some time to give them.Yes it's strange how they suddenly decide to change the size of them!
