IT'S GETTING WARMER

 At last! Mind you the temperature will probably dip again next week!

Martha, who is casually leaning against the tree asks if she is finally going to be allowed to remove her boots and maybe get into more summer clothes?

"Cast nar a clout till May is out!" say I " which means " I explain " Don't remove any clothing until May is finished"

"Well, I'll be removing these tights and boots!" declares Martha " and changing this dress but I will make sure I keep a cardigan handy, just in case I need a clout"
