AT LAST NEWS ARRIVES....

Today when I came home from work I found a message that the Village crew and myself have long been waiting for!
I now share it with you all...

Ah-hem s'cuse me Mrs Mum, I see you on the compooper. It's Teddy here. We wanted you to tell little Stormy where we are.

We have had such a long journey by bus and train and boat. When the boat arrived we didn't know where to go but we started walking and just kept going.

After a bit we were out in the country and I was starting to wonder where we were going.

Then we saw a young chap on a bicycle. He said 'Hello, I'm Marc and I'm practising for the Tour de France. Who are you?'
My girl said 'I'm Lonely' and Marc said 'A little girl like you shouldn't be lonely, hop on my bike and
come and meet the kids'

So we arrived at this lovely country cottage and Marc said 'If you like it here you can stay, Mum has been looking for a little girl just like you'

'Oh' said Lonely 'I think I'd like to stay for a while'

The kids here seem friendly. Cora let us play with her pram - after all the walking I was glad to get a rest!

And at bedtime Clara read us stories. She did offer to read a story about a lion, a witch and a wardrobe but I didn't like the sound of it - it sent icy chills down my back.
We have had quite an adventure from an Ice Palace to a Cottage and tomorrow as a treat we'll be getting Ice Queem - do you think we'll like it?
Love and Bestest wishes
Teddy and Lonely xxx

AT LAST WE KNOW THAT LONELY'S WELL
NO LONGER LIVING IN THAT HELL
SHE AND TEDDY HIT THE ROAD
AWAY FROM LUCAS THE LITTLE TOAD

A HOME SHE'S FOUND WITH LOVELY FOLK
WHO PLAY WITH HER AND LAUGH AND JOKE
KEEP HER WELL AND SAFE FROM HARM
HER LIFE IS NOW ONE OF CALM

SO LONELY HERE YOUR TALE DOES END
FOR YOU AND TED WILL SOON MEND
NOW THAT YOU ARE SAFE AWAY
WE HOPE TO MEET AGAIN SOMEDAY

THE END.....................OR IS IT.......

Thanks to Rosie and her Sasha Family who are now looking after Lonely and Teddy.

  6. OH!!! How lovely, Lonely and her teddy are home, safe and sound! And what a lovely home it is too! Is it in Ireland? It looks like the cottages there. I'm so glad to hear that little Lonely finally has a caring mummy to look after her!
