TWO ON TUESDAY
" This Eucomis Scilloideae is looking very nice despite Rufus keep trying to bite off the leaves! " says Martha
"It also called a Pineapple Lily "
"Then " says Ashley " this must be an Aeonium Arboreum Zwartkop "
"Also called Aeonium "
"That's the same " sighs Martha
" Well it doesn't have another name " says Ashley " Why is there two wooden posts on the ground?"
"Don't ask "
" Oh Okay!"
" Then smarty pants what is this? " ask Ashley
" Mmm " Martha pauses " This is Potusemptius "
Ashley giggles " I see! Is it Rare? "
" No " smiles Martha " lots of people have them "
"It's other name is... "
" Empty pot!"
"If you have finished playing about can I take some photos? "
"Of course Mum "
Martha and Ashley are wearing their autumn outfits of cord dungarees by Vintage Sasha .
The Vintage Sasha dungarees are my favourite Sasha dungarees. They have Sarah's unique style of the curved top side with the stitched outside trouser hem.
My favourite of all the sets I own is the yellow pair on the right which Ashley always gets to wear.
So more girls in autumn wear tomorrow.

Martha and Ashley are truly gorgeous, and those outfits suit them to a T. They obviously know a thing or two about horticulture. We have some of those Potusemptius as well (or more accurately plantusmortius). Now you have all of us wondering about those wooden posts!
ReplyDeleteThey are two of my many favourites :) I've no idea where they got their knowledge from ! They must have spent too much time listening to their Dad.
DeleteAhh Plantusmortius we have a few of them round here too!
Yes the wooden posts....
Beautiful girls and especially so wearing Sarah’s dungarees. They are just perfect! Ashley is one lucky girl to get the yellow pair which is my favorite too. Two wooden posts suggest an interesting future post. The potus might be emptius but the garden is quite full and lovely and full of surprises. 😊 xxx
ReplyDeleteI do love my no navels in Sarah's dungarees.
DeleteI asked Sarah to make those yellow dungarees especially and she thought the colour very blah! But I absolutely love them .
Yes those wooden posts....
lol yes the garden is full indeed ! :) xxx
What lovely girls and those dungarees of Sarah's are great :)
ReplyDeleteWe have one of those Aeonium Arboreum Zwartkop but although it's got more 'branch' thingies than yours has, your bits at the top, are much bigger than ours. Do they prefer sun or shade I wonder?
We also have several of those Potusemptius ones too ;)

My most favourite of Sarah's designs.
DeleteThey like the sun Sharon , they can go green instead of red/black if left in the shade.
Paul's forever cutting ours up and making more! We must have given at least a dozen away at our open garden ! :) xxx
