I wandered over wood and field
and climbed atop this wall
I carry with me tokens of
my love for one and all
I chose not one to be my love
for I would not feel good
If one should be left crying
cos they were misunderstood
So one and all please accept from me
my love for all mankind
come dance with me a cha cha cha
please neatly form a line.
Valentine Owen
Now lets go dance.... " I'm putting on my top hat.... "
Very dashing! I hope you have plenty of smelling salts on hand, because I'm sure all of the girls are swooning right now!
ReplyDeleteThose girls would be shock to see Valentine looking untidy, he doesn't do untidy! :)
DeleteI did hear the odd thud but that could be girls falling or more than likely the other boys throwing things and missing as the girls all smile and coo over him lol
Thanks Valentine for the poem and good wishes on this 2020 St Valentines Day. Must say that you look very dashing here.
ReplyDeleteThe Brood Remainers and I wish you and all at the Sasha Village the very same. xx
Thank you Lady K, I do try to maintain the standards round here and it is hard , yours most respectfully Valentine
DeleteWhat a little charmer Valentine is, and it's great that each year he has his 'own' day! :)

He certainly is and he loves that they're named a day afterhim ;) xx
DeleteOh, Val, I missed your wonderful invitation to dance.
ReplyDeletePerhaps it is as well, I have three left feet and the family tradition of earning a living through dance passed me by. You had a lucky escape.
We all love you at Bryn Derw. You are a special boy.
Thank you auntie Jenni, I do love to dance and I'm sure I can even dance you off your three feet ;) Love Valentine Frederick Gene Owen
