THANK YOU AUNTIE SARAH


Hello Auntie Sarah


We'd like to Thank you Please


For making us these outfits
That cover up our knees!


For an English summer
we all know oh so well
can change from  so beautiful
to a living hell!



And so we thank you kindly
for covering our knees
It helps to stop our underpants
swinging in the breeze


Our Knees are warm and snugly
It's stop the breeze's raise
which on a very  windy day
makes water from our eyes!


So Thank you Auntie Sarah
For covering our knees
we love our new outfits
Anoushka Olivia and Me!

I love the Turquoise outfit by Sarah so much on Magda that I cannot bring myself to change her yet! But wanting her Button Nose sisters to be dressed the same I asked Sarah if she could make a few more of these cropped trouser outfits the next time she was due to list.
And so I was able dress Anoushka and Olivia to match Magda which looks so sweet.


So before the rain arrives I had a little photo shoot with the girls so they could show off their new outfits.


I was going to hunt out some yellow socks for Anoushka to wear but quite like her in just the sandals.


Here I have used the backboard so that the girls stand out without any distraction.


Also the girls hair is now in bunches which I think suits them all.

    Three very lucky little girls! What an 'unrivelled' doting mother they have!
    (Personally I always prefer this style of outfit of vintage-sasha without any socks (....providing of course that the footwear is colourproof.)

      They are indeed Kendal, slightly spoilt I think!! :) I will probably remove the others socks and find them some other matching sandals encase of dye problems :)

    Great fun, Dee! The girls look wonderful - loovely colours and pretty faces. Bertie s nudgging me and reminding me how lovely his sister Gerda is and that she needs:
    dresses'n'shoes'n'leggins'n'socks' n'RESTRINGNG!
    Think I'm in trouble - should have left him at home!

    Still having internet problems here so am unable to see the photos but did see one or two on Facebook and have to say that the girls looked lovely in their new outfits...lucky girls! Sarah did a super job as per usual.
    I also think that the little lemon sandals look super without socks .... perfect for summer!

      Thanks Sharon, must be annoying to have internet problems, I know it drives me mad when we have trouble. Sarah did do her usual perfect job! :)

    Wow Dee, a great post once again!! I love the rhymes as you know and your reference to covering the knees to prevent underpants swinging in the breeze is truly inspired! i am still laughing! :). I love the three outfits by Sarah, just fantastic! I especially love the sky blue top with the tiny flowers and red trim. All three outfits look perfect on your three stunning girls.       Thanks Ginger, I have to confess I did chuckle to myself when I typed that verse! :)
      The Button girls all thank you for your hugs and send some in return. They love Auntie Sarah's clothes as do we all ! :)

    I too agree with Ginger - still laughing at the underpants 😊
    The outfits are lovely and it's great they all have the same, stops any arguments.
    The sandals do look good without socks - funny I've been wondering recently if anyone has thought of making trainer liners, although not sure how easy they would be to make?!

      :)) Glad you found it funny as intended :) My thoughts exactly, if they all have the same no tantrums !! I agree the without socks look with these outfits are best!
      I suppose you could cut some of the socks down to size but may be a little fiddly? or the sock makers of the Sasha world could back some trainer style socks, I'll mention it to Gill!! :)xx
