THE MOVE BEGINS....

Well since I only need one long shelf to be bought and put in place I decided to start the move!

A cupboard arrives and things start to appear...

slowly things arrive and begin to fill the space...

One of the decisions I made was that this would enable me to get out, my half finished Georgian dolls house which as been waiting for the last ten years covered up on a shelf in the outhouse.

I am hoping that by getting it out from it's resting place it may in time get finished.

This dolls house we started fitting with lighting.

Fireplaces in every room

No stairs but wall candles to light your way

another bedroom

The library? Dinning room? study? who knows only time will tell.......

Well still lots to do......................... :)

  1. So exciting, Dee! A studio AND a house! Love the doors in your dolls' house. Is it a kit, or bult from you own (or Paul's) design?

    1. It is exciting ! The dolls house is one of Sid Cookes which you could? Can? buy in kit form and then you put it together yourself.

  2. Great to see the studio slowly filling up now with all those super Sasha props....never mind a 'secretly hidden' from view, doll's house!
I've always hankered after one since we parted with Chon's Lundi house but knew that there wouldn't be enough money for fitting that out as I would have liked alongside collecting Sasha Dolls.

Thinking that it won't be long now until we are viewing the very first studio post!

    1. There is lots to move and find places for! Hoping not to run out of space!!! :)
This is my second dolls house the first one was three stories and I sold because it had nowhere to stand in this smaller house. So hopefully this one gets to stay as it's now in my Studio :)
Lots yet to do but a few ideas in the pipeline.. :))

    1. It's Georgian but whether I fill it with Georgian furniture remains to be seen ! I have not seen that site, so will be spending a few visits checking it all out!! :)

  4. It's coming along very nicely. It's always so exciting when you can see all your things together and gives you the chance to rediscover things that you'd forgotten about.
Do you plan to have all your Sashas in your studio or just bring them out when you're blogging about them?

    1. You are so right Rosie, I have things that have never had a chance to shine and probably things I don't need , so it's run discovering things I had forgotten I had!! :)
My Sasha's and Bears will only visit the Studio for blogging photo's and be kept indoors as usual , don't want them getting too cold or dusty!! :)
