Today We have on the Sasha steps of Fashion
Sophie Elizabeth wearing a wonderful dress by Wendy F. She's teamed it with grey Jean Jensen shoes.
Stepping up beside Callie onto the middle step.
I love the detail on this dress from Wendy.

Oh Joy! Another Gotz doll to start the day :)
ReplyDeleteI knew you'd come round in the end 😊
DeleteHappy Gotz day, SS!
ReplyDeleteShe is lovely, Dee - no not SS - Sophie Elizabeth.
My Sophie is the prettiest of my LG girls and I had never tried her in purples. Now, I know she needs purple things for winter this year.
(Thank you Auntie Dee, Sophie xxxxx)
Whoa! Whoa! Watch it Jen...what do you mean SS isn't lovely :) I am....sometimes :)
DeleteThanks Jenni ,she is my only later Gotz ,she waited so long for me to buy her off Shellys and she is one of my quiet favourites.
DeleteThe outfit is a deep indigo blue ,so does have a purple look about it,it does suit her really well.
I'm really liking the wide variety of the Sasha dolls being shown here. Pleased to see a later Gotz girl taking centre stage today as apart from my customised toddler Bea all my LG.s have moved on from here now.
ReplyDeleteI always felt for poor Sofie having to be dressed for sale in those unattractive blue overalls, (although I loved her little wooden carpentry tools.)! Certainly not the most tempting/flattering of outfits compared to some of the others of her era! I thought that they looked like our car mechanic's overalls until I read they were actually the Israeli Jewish children's uniforms when they lived and worked on a collective farm.
Thanks Kendal. I only own a couple lf the later ones but all are favourites.
DeleteI agree about the blue overalls not at all appealing! She waited so patiently for me to save her from them, and she's never worn them since!
Very nice too!
