I love the Caleb's and the Cora's and have at one stage or another owned three Caleb's and two Cora's but no sooner do they arrive that I start thinking of selling them!
It could be that they are hard to capture in photos' which is a shame as they are lovely dolls.
These three were around for a very small amount of time before they moved on to be appreciated more elsewhere.

Good grief! If I did a feature on my past dolls since I started getting into Sasha from the early eighties I would have to blog solidly all day...I like to think I have a fluid collection....:)
ReplyDeleteIt could be called the revolving door of ice! 😱😉 would that fluid be alcoholic by any chance? 😀
DeleteThey do look lovely but I agree with you, they're so hard to photograph as I have found with the Caleb I have here....who really needs to go!
ReplyDeleteI love the bright colours that you dressed them in, in the photos above.

As we know they can be photographed but it takes time to get it right.plus I've always had such minty ones I've worried about marking them because the marks show up more easily. I think they do suit the nice bright colours 😃Xxx
DeleteI've got the later, lighter skinned Caleb and Cora and baby, they are easier to photograph than the earlier dolls. Ideally you need a good camera for the darker Sasha dolls.
ReplyDeleteMy problem is I just love the really dark ones from the early days which does not help in the photography stakes!
DeleteOver time I have had TWO dark skinned Coras (1972 White Knit and 1977 Summer Dress) one light skinned Caleb (1980)and three dark skinned (White Suit, 1972-1978) and one light skinned (Baby Cara, 1984) babies.
ReplyDeleteMy very favourite were the three darker babies.
I've had at least one dark baby and I do so love them but they just never seem to stay long. Not that it won't stop any more from arriving if one takes my fancy!
DeleteThey're beautiful and look great in those colorful outfits. I especially love Cora's hair. I tend to favor the Cora's with either the small tight curls or the more brushed out look, as opposed to the big chunky curls.

The Cora's are so nice and I love that brushed out ones. I also love the small almost petite Caleb's . My first Caleb's was like that and I wish I'd kept him and just lightened the whites of his eyes. But you live and learn !
DeleteLove their colorful outfits. They are wonderful examples of Caleb and Cora. 😊 xxx
ReplyDeleteThanks Ginger, they were a lovely trio :) xx
