BUT BE BACK SOON...
Alas they rarely return once they have left..
and so it was with the lovely button nosed lass. Yet again I decided three button girls was too many and then she was off, snapped up just as I was about to keep her! But it's nice to have owned her and others have arrived in her place.
Not the best photo of her but I've not time to find the better ones at present.

Over my 22 years of collecting I guess that I too must have had a fair ammount of Sasha Dolls pass through nmy hands, at one time or another, so I wouldn't dare ever attempt what you are doing here...although I do have photos stored of each and everyone.
ReplyDeleteAlthough I'm basically not 'into' these 'Button Noses' (have only ever had two) I did quite like this little tot more than one or two of your others.
It's amazing some of the dolls that have passed through our hands over the years, I'm sure your maybe be more than mine but probably close 😀
DeleteThankfully we are not all after the same dolls or we'd all have the exact same collections and the other dolls would be ignored.
She was gorgeous and rare being brunette, but one should never regret a sale
A brunette button nose girl is still on my wish list. But since I'm not as brave as you, and only said goodbye to one of my girls yet, my Sasha family already took over most of our living room - and of course a large part of my life!
ReplyDeleteYes, same here at Gregoropolis. It's been all arrivals and no departures. They've basically taken over a whole room, not that I'm complaining :)
DeleteShe's a lovely girl, though she looks like she may be just a little mischievous.
If I still had every Sasha or Gregor I think we'd be living in the soon to arrive log cabin and the dolls would fill the house! I did find it very hard to sell the first girl but then it got easier which allowed me to sell one to buy another that was on my wish list.
DeleteI feel our governments should be given us a doll saving allowance then we could buy without having to sell... Mind you I don't think Paul would agree to move into the log cabin so the dolls get the house!
She is a cutie, but yes, they come, they stay a while, we enjoy them...then they go! I have all my photos of dolls stored here on my laptop and I have one folder called 'adopted out dolls' and it is full to the brim of individual files of photos of dolls who lived here for a while....and I have to say it's an extensive list LOL. I guess it's the norm for us dolly collectors that we love a doll and then we love another more, so someone has to be sacrificed to bring our new 'love' home!
ReplyDeleteIt's fun though!

I used to have a folder with some photos in but then decided if they'd gone so can the file!
DeleteWe doll collectors can certainly have a wandering eye! xxx
Bye bye sweet one. I am certain her new Mom or Dad will love her dearly. 😊 xxx
ReplyDeleteI'm sure they do :) xxx
