I knew that as soon as I had bought another stand for my tapestry frame the other one would appear! However I think there could be two about although I have no idea where the second one, of which we just have a couple of pieces, came from !
Yes, it still had a tapestry I was working on, on the stretchers! But it had been taken apart for when me moved back in 2005 and naturally vanished into the mists! Strangely most was found out in Paul's workshop but two sections were found in the house! Of course a couple of the cogs were missing, so we've had to order some replacements and I'll be needing to find the wool that came with this tapestry cushion cover kit!
I'm sure I won't have thrown it away.... I hope...
If I have I'll be having to buy replacement yarn, so I can finally complete it. I think this year is going to turnout to be the year of the finishing jobs that have been outstanding for several years! Or the catching up year!
A couple of weeks back I went to M&S, advised by Simples and bought a Emma Bridgewater planter with spring bulbs in, naturally the one I wanted had Hyacinths in, now I love the look and colours of them but the scent is just too over powering! Now they are in full bloom and I have placed them in the kitchen/breakfast room and only get a whiff now and then thanks to a bad cold!
So it looks like I'll be busy catching up...
