WORLD BOOK DAY

 


For world book day I'm sharing this book by Mrs H Cradock with Illustrations by Honor C Appleton.

This book has a note written inside saying to Bunny with love from Mummie, Feb 25th 1928.

A sweet story with wonderful artwork.

I hope you all enjoyed a good book today.

    Sorry Dee, no reading books for me, too busy painting. However, I do love old books like this one, the drawings by the early illustrators always appeals to me. Hubby's favourite kiddies book is Rupert Bear and we have quite a collection of those. :)

      I think the early illustrators are wonderful and so sad that they will be forgotten as time passes.
      My youngest sister loved Rupert and we used to buy her an annual every Christmas back in the 70's. Hugs x
