COMING ALONG NICELY....

Progress on the shops/house fronts, all had a second coat and the doors a first coat of paint.A little cutting in on the paintwork still needed to straiten the odd edge here and there!

Here you can see the shelving that will form the interior of a couple of the shop windows. this is removable to keep the options open  for dressing or for using as a house front.

  1. These are so lovely! Will you have little brass door knobs as handles? I love the soft shades of paint that you've used, it works really well with the white....a nice fresh look for them. I'm excited to see what is going to be in those front windows! Please take photos of them once they're all done so that those of us who're not fortunate enough to be going to the Chat n Snap can see them all finished!!!

    1. Have no idea yet what the door knobs will be! I am pleased with the colour choice , they go well together.
I will most certainly take photo's of them all with their full front windows and post photo's, just hope they look good!

  2. The GREY is still MY favourite! So pleased that you didn't go with black doors (too dark and overpowering!) as I'm loving them in the white.

Shelving is a great idea. (Poor Paul!.....just as it looks as if he's nearly finished!) You're a very hard task master!

    1. The Grey is the one for the raffle as i thought most people would be happy with that colour or they can paint it whatever colour they like once they win it!.
I need the shelves to do the displays in the windows! He knows he'll be able to escape my 'ideas' once next weekend arrives and it's too late to make anything else!! :)
