So I will carry on as usual... While I have been posting photo's of all his work today the DH, after telling me I would have to paint them , took the first shop front off and under coated it!
Then while discussing the sizing etc he said that the two props, fireplace and window seat should fit with these fronts as they were the same height!
So I had to have a play and see for myself!
View through the window into 'room'
It's a bit like through the keyhole!
Added a few props to mantelpiece.
Paige and Nathaniel check the 'room'out.
The sun warms the room to a nice warm colour.
So turning out to be a very versatile addition to the props for the Village.
The DH just asked how many Beret's I had make while he's been working on my shops........just the one....I'd best get a move on!!
I would like to thank all those who drop by and also those who pause to comment , I may have another 500 in me but is that a good thing!!! :)

ReplyDeleteI love the 'room' behind the window, it's perfect. The sunlight gives it such a nice warm glow too.
I think Paul is a fantastic 'asset' to have around the house.....and to the Sasha World!
Thank you Sharon.
DeleteIt's great that I can also use the 'shop' as a house front with my other props Paul made me behind. Paul is definitely an asset for the Sasha's and me. :)
A magnificent job Paul. Can't wait to see them finished and displaying their wares and with a photo of my visiting Sasha peering through the window!
ReplyDeleteGreat idea too that they can be used in conjunction with your previous interior furniture displays.
Totally envious!
He is a wonder! I too cannot wait to see them all finished and all of good to tempt the Sasha's
Deleteand how clever of him to see that the other furniture displays will look good 'inside' giving another use for them.
Very nice. Did Lindsey do the fireplace for you? I can see poor Paul having to build an entire house in the back garden at some point.
ReplyDeleteNo Lindsey did not do the fireplace Paul did after all he was around long before his talented daughter! Shhh I have not told him yet!!
DeleteHow I wish I were close by to go to the Chat n Snap! Alas, here I am in the middle of the US.
ReplyDeletethe storefronts are superb - I can imagine many scenes. Your DH is a gem!
The car is also a wonderful thing - I love the color!
That's the thing with Sasha's they are loved far and wide , it's a shame that everyone cannot come and enjoy the event although the Hall can only hold so many!! But I will put lots of photo's on , so you can feel like you were wondering around looking at everything! :)
DeleteThat car is great and so is it's colour :)
Keep forgetting to say how much I love how the sunlight is filtering in from the right making the interior look as if it is lit with light from a standard lamp.
ReplyDeleteSuperb little items on the mantlepiece. Just like in real life.
PS. I have a wooden chair the same as yours.... so hopefully that's a start!
Yes That light hitting that part was a big bonus just like a really light. It's amazing what one acquires over the years that come in handy in the strangest and unexpected way!
DeleteI love those little wooden chairs and having one is indeed a start! :)
