WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY WITH FRIENDS

Well what a wonderful day it's been. The weather finally decided that it would be lovely and warm , even hot! and stayed that way all day!

And today Wednesday was the perfect day for this to happen as I spend a lovely day out in the Northampton countryside with a group of Sasha friends.

I did not take  many photos as I was too busy having a good chat with people. But I did take a few near the end, but the sun was so bright I could not get a good photo of the ones in the windows.




You can see how sunny it was from this photo. These are Ten Ping dolls collected by a Sasha friend.
along with a Sasha keeping watch.


Callie's girls had expected cooler weather like us all.


These two sets of extra special toddlers were catching up on what had been happening since they last met up!


Also met up with a previous Sasha Villager, who was wearing couture  by Catherine French! Look at that cardigan..... sob......


These children were getting tired and wondering when all those women would stop talking and head home!! I'd only taken Jenny with me and she was worn out by the end with all the fun she'd had!.


This young man of Diane's was resting after all the attention he'd received ! It's hard being a Studio boy doll ...


Cathy's gorgeous button nosed red with lashes, made me wish I'd kept hold of Arabella ..


 and her gorgeous blonde was also there.


I also got to meet the lovely Granny Peggy and met up with Ginger who I'll also be seeing again. at the weekend.

Sorry there  are not that many photos but I had this more as a me day and will do better at the SCW.

    What lovely photos and lovely dolls! They all look so wonderful together. I really must find a friend for Ezri, even if it isn't another Sasha doll :)

      Thanks but there were loads more there and some of them gorgeously dressed , shame I was too busy chatting !lol
      I'm sure Ezri would like a friend when the times right :)

    I can tell my the expression on everyone's faces that they enjoyed this trip. How nice to get together and to spend time chatting. Did they have tea, too? You're right, that red cardigan is fantastic and the boy Studio doll is a real winner. It looks like everyone, people and dolls alike, enjoyed the day.

      They did, looks of happy sighs on the way home! We had a very nice long lunch out in the sunshine and still chatting!
      Once I had the chance to buy such a cardigan and being new to Sasha I passed it along to another who bought it! Now I know my mistake and just have a small sob when I see such wonders...
      Yes it was a wonderful day of friends, dolls and sunshine! :)

    Oooooh I think I recognise this lovely Sasha collectors home! I suspect her garden was beautiful in the sunshine too. You may not have taken many photos but what you took were nice. I am the same though, if I meet up with dolly friends I tend to forget to take photos as I'm enjoying the socialising so much, the photos are completely missed.
    I'm glad you all had a lovely time though, it's always nice to meet up with like minded dolly friends.

      I'm sure you do :) and it was lovely in the sunshine :) Luckily some of the others took some great photos and I'm sure will be shared on the FB group.
      Usually I'm so intent on getting the photos I forget to have the chat and miss out catching up with people, so it was nice to be the other way round this time :) although I wished I'd taken a few more before people up their dolls away and yes it's lovely to meet up with like minded doll friends :) xx

    Oh how lovely to have a dolly meet-up day, and I am not at all surprised to hear that you almost forgot to take photos. I know I always do when I get together with a group of dolly friends.......hehehehehee.

    Ooh lovely, a gathering at a certain Sasha sanctuary which I recognise. The studio boy is superb. It is also good to catch a glimpse of the only 4 Trendon toddlers ever made.

      Yes it is that Sasha Sanctuary :) The boy was with his sisters and I didn't even realise! so busy was I chatting! Never mind I'm sure I'll see them all again sometime.
      Those toddlers are so special and I love that their eyes are blue!

      It was not far off! :) you would have loved it, there were many more dolls that I took photos of ! I took one but some took ten or more :)
