IN THE SPIRIT OF ST JOAN?

Saffron is fascinated by the head of St. Joan that sits in the garden, she feels drawn to it!

Is she haunted by her spirit?

Saffron always feels both sad and angry st St Joan's tragic tale....

Sometimes it make her want to go kick some butt! and other times to weep and rail against fate!

Which is so strange because Saffron is the most calm and even tempered of the Village Sasha's! is St Joan's spirit trying to take over this young girl.....

Now she's away from St Joan, she feels again her normal calm self.. such a strange moment !

Now she must be off to granny's shop to buy some gifts!

  1. That's very strange! I hope Granny doesn't have any harnesses, swords and horses in her shop.

  2. Oh how weird! Maybe St Joan is a long ago ancestor of Saffron, after all they do look very similar, they both have that faraway haughty sort of look, don't you think? Or maybe Saffron is her reincarnation!!!! Such a mystery!
PS Love Saffron's bobbed red hair, so pretty!

  3. Saffron looks so nice in her outfit and I love her bobbed cut. Maybe she should stay clear of the beautiful St. Joan...just to be safe. 😉 xxx

    1. Thanks Ginger, Yes I think it may be best to get her to walk on the other side of the garden when she's out side! :) xxx

  4. Well, I suppose it's good for kids to have role models. Better warn Toby and Zak not to tease Saffron though. They may get more than they bargained for!

    1. It is but this one may just be a little too dangerous especially for that tike Toby, I can just see Saffron chasing him waving a sword with the way he behaves!

  5. Love that sculpture of Saint Joan of Arc. My late mother was named after her.
Saffron looks neat and 'super-trendy' in the black/powder-blue coloured outfit.
