THE END OF A DRY PATCH..

If you saw my earlier post you'll know that I didn't just fall off the wagon I fell and bounced!

So No dolls were meant to be purchased in February , in fact until the 3rd March, as usual I failed in my quest but one day I'll manage it !

The socks that started it all have arrived.

The Rosie Bloom shoes have arrived, Taupe and Tangerine , yes tangerine....  I'm blaming John at Gregoropolis for those Tangerine ones...

And Christian , who arrived on St Valentine's day  bearing gifts . Yes another , my fourth , Caleb !
Lovely and dark skinned like the others!

His face is much darker than shown and it's only because it's so sunny outside that it looks so light.

He came with a big tube of love heart sweets, all the way from a certain Icy Queen in Bonnie Scotland! Yes That one..... don't know what's going on with her, she's moved north to the icy wastelands and her hearts warming up????

Christian is wearing the other pair of socks I bought from Jane, a dolly doodle shorts set and a Diane Dukes cotton sweater with of course Rosie Bloom shoes. He wanted to wear the Ora .. I mean Tangerine one's but I managed to convince him that the brown looked better!

a view of his socks and shoes.

I'll have to see how he photograph's inside, this time I'll add some watercolour pencil to the whites of his eyes if need be and hopefully that will help solve any problem.

I'm really pleased to have another Caleb Gregor in the family, he's settled in very quickly and is enjoying some getting to know you time with the others.

  1. What a handsome lad; well worth breaking your no doll pledge. I love his name and also the fact that he has a Valentine's day birthday. Think of it as an errand of mercy. You've saved him from a life of haggis and ice water! Blake, my Caleb, insists on wearing purple all the time. Wouldn't it be funny if your Christian insisted on always wearing orange?

    1. I have to agree he is very handsome and it's nice he searches his birthday with Valentine another of my lads.
Poor boy fancy having to live on Haggis and ice water.. yes It was a mercy mission ;)
If he decided Purple was his colour I'd be over the moon but in truth it was very hard to drag him away from those Oran.. tangerine shoes.. he was trying to team them with a green cardigan that had oran.. Tangerine streaks in it !! I so hope that's not his favourite colour !!!!

  3. He's a very handsome chappy Dee. I do like Cora and Caleb but having had one of each, they didn't stay. I found them too hard to photograph, their skin colour didn't show up nicely in my photos, so I gave up and they went elsewhere.
I love the socks and the shoes are great too, lovely colours!
    xx

    1. He is and like you I have had a couple of Cora's and three other Caleb's plus a baby or two and they always moved on, due to poor photos and the worry of marking their faces ! But I'm going to persist with Christian and see if I can work with him :) xx

  5. Hello Sis! Well, how smart does your new boy Christian look? He shares the same name as my youngest son...it is surely an omen he has moved in with you...Caleb...not my son :)

    1. Hi Sis, yes he insisted that was his name , maybe because he saw how well you treated your youngest son.. thought it would keep him safe ;)
Your son's moved in? I'd best go check .. how will I tell? is he like his mother?... will the temperature drop as I get closer.... :)

  6. I really don't know why I'm ever taken in with your New Year Resolutions and each time I believe and trust you. Just how stupid and gullible must I be?

Daren't ever mention the ORANGE sandals that now seem to have wormed their way into the Sasha Village after your statement at the Haggle and Gaggle about this vibrant colour definitely NOT being to your liking!!!

    1. Because you like me hope I’ll make it! 😉 and I stopped making New Years resolutions years ago, this was dry February! And it was dry for twelve days which even you must realise is longer than usual ! And I always have the best of intentions

Those TANGERINE sandals are not to my liking but in such a small dose can be Bourn in the dolls interest as a few of them appear to like that colour much to my dismay !
