HEADS UP!

Well Lucy is now completed re rooted. She still needs to have her body attached but I thought you'd like to see her before she gets any cutting or washing.

Not an unplugged hole in sight!!

From the back , out in the sunshine the original colour looks ok but indoors it looks much darker and dirty looking, Gill's recommended a blonde shampoo which I will try later in the week.

another look at the rooting. What's that? you want to see her face? OK...

Lucy from the front. I had to do the first row of hair completely down the left side in the photo, so added a few highlights to the right side to pull it all together.

The hair seems to fall into an almost natural centre part though it is not straight.

Well I think I'm now supposed to wet her hair to calm it down, then once it's dry we'll put her back together with her body and do some snipping!! I'm going to cut at least an inch off her original hair due to it being frizzy and then cut new hair to same length. Then I will decide what happens next or whether to wait a day or so before any more snipping takes place.......

  1. Congratulations. You've done a wonderful job on the very sweet looking Lucy. Definitely a case of 'What a difference a day makes.' (So glad that you didn't have to go into work today!)

Can't wait now to see the final stages!

  3. All I can say is WOW!
My in-need-of-hair-waifs-left-to-me-by-Ellie are quietly trying to tug their own heads off whilst Connor and Girl 53 find the box with your address on it. You did fancy rerooting half a dozen more by Friday, didn't you?!?!
    Sore hands?
