DING DONG BELLE

I needed to change Belle into a new outfit as I had used her for a model to sell a couple of things and she had then had to stand for a day waiting to be redressed.

When I arrived home from work a couple of parcel's had arrived and in one of them were some dresses I had ordered from Michelle. Amongst them was the dress I decided to put on Belle.

This batik fabric dress is just such a gorgeous blend of colours touching on many of my favourites, Purple, Blue ,Green etc. Such jewel bright colours. So I was off to find her a pair of purple tights and boots.
Here she is wearing them but it's cold so she needed a coat.

So she's putting on the second Plum coloured coat that I was in two minds about giving away as a present but lets be honest I just LOVE the colour of these coats so it was a very very small chance of being given away!

These go together so well they could have been made as a set!

I think Belle looks good in purple.I'll now a little photo fest ...

This photo was taken without the flash so you can see the slight shake!and that's the sun reflecting on her hair from the white back board.

Flash back on.

I wish you could see her for yourselves she looks so much nicer than I can do her justice in these photo's the one with no flash and a shaking hand comes closest to showing her. Despite me taking the photo's over three different times of this afternoon!.
Belle ( Belinda) a 68 single fringe girl is one of my favourites of the Sasha family.1968 was indeed a fine year for Sashas and Gregors.

    1. Thanks Simple :) It just so annoying when the light catches the eyes or make a shine on the face! Those colours are sooo lovely :)

  2. The name Belle suits her. She is indeed a beautiful girl and her outfit is stunning. What luck - or good judgement? - that you bought things that, without being made as a set outfit, go together so well.
Your photos are great, Dee. I love the sets you use - much better than my messy kitchen table!

    1. I would love to say it was judgement but it's usually luck!! :) and as for the set, the back board's from hobbycraft £5, the fake topiary from the garden centre / or John Lewis and the cones also from garden centre all done on kitchen worktop!

  3. Such wonderful rich toning colours that so suit my very favourite doll of your Sasha collection.
The coat and boots are a perfect match and I love how they bring out and compliment the same colour in the dress. Surely an outfit made in Heaven!

Unfortunately back to the Xmas card writing after this little Sasha fix break!

    1. I knew you'd like Belle in these colours knowing she's your favourite of my girls!:) I could not believe how well the boots by Lisa Hartley from a couple of years back went so well with the coat and dress this years purchases, sometimes these things are just meant to be!!

Drat! I knew there was sometime I was supposed to be doing! writing my Christmas Cards!

  7. She's really gorgeous Dee and your photos do show this. The colour, as you quite rightly say, is perfect on her.....and all matching so well :)
I'd like to get some coats for my girls or perhaps make some but by the time I get around to it it'll be spring again and they'll not need them. I need to work ahead of time, like they do in the 'fashion houses'....but that ain't gonna happen! LOL
    Big hugs Sharon xxx

    1. Thanks Sharon. It's sometimes such a performance trying to get some good shots! :)
I think your girls could probably get away with some lovely thick jumpers or sweaters! I should image you have more than enough orders to do without adding coats for your girls! :)
      hugs Dee xx
