TEA FOR TWO ?

Today I decided to set up the table with my new slightly larger doll size tea set and take some photos.
I took lots of photos of different dolls with setting, seeing who suited this size of tea set.
After I finish this post I will put the other dolls photos on my dolly dreaming blog which is on my side bar.

All set for tea.

Who will come to tea ?

Well It's Christie joining us for tea.

although larger than you'd want are they just a little too big for a child with an adult cup in front of them? What do you think?

Here's Ollie come to take tea with Christie.

come and sit down Ollie says Christie

I think the set is not too bad a size even for them.

Now I am off to resize the other photos for the other blog post. One of the problems with using an ipad is having to send the photos one at a time due to size and then download each one and then put them in file , then resize , sort and use... thank goodness Paul's just bought me a camera :)

And I love that they set the table with a table cloth too. Very proper!

And congratulations about the new camera too!

    1. It's great isn't it, I'm over the moon with just how well it's worked out with all the dolls :) The table cloth is a vintage tray cloth.

Thanks It's supposed to arrive tomorrow....

  2. I'm just in love with those chairs! They're so finely detailed. We're working on an upcoming post on tea and tea sets. While looking for tea sets on eBay, I have found that it's difficult to get a true sense of scale. Some that seem like they should have been perfect have turned out to be a little too big or small.

    1. Thank you ,the chairs came from eBay ,a bargain couple of finds. I agree it's so hard to,know if the size is right for the dolls because measurements don't alway tell the true story!
Luckily for me not only do I love dolls but I love China and especially small doll size China , so if it comes and it's too small or a little two big I'll love it anyway!😀

    1. Thanks Kendal. I have to admit I did not even think of the course doll with that set, she could be too big but I'll have a try out!
Paul is an angel! It's arrived now I just have to master using it!

  7. I love this whole scene. I think the tea set is perfect for them, and not too big, seeing as they are little children and the teaset is really for their 'parents'. So no, I'd say definitely not too big. I love that table and chairs too, and the wall hanging. Oh and of course I love seeing Christie and Ollie :)
