SUNDAY SUMMARY

Well what a beautiful few days for lovely weather we here in the south /east of England have just enjoyed! Today Sunday being the best so far. It felt like an early summers day.

I convinced Paul it was a day to rest and not carry on with clearing and re-digging the flower garden beds, which he's been working on all week. Clearing them one by one, moving plants forward or back or out depending on their size. The digging it over, mulching with compost from our garden bins and then covering with a layer of small bark chippings to keep the weeds down over winter.

We took a trip out to a small nursery, back near where we used to live, where we met three small terriers who charged a fee of a good few strokes and some neck or chest scratching before be were allowed to be escorted by two of them around the nursery sales beds! Again a hot afternoon, so the terriers decided to have a nap, on guarding each end of a path!

one at one end

The second one. The third dog was older than these two, possibly their mother who after a few belly rubs took herself off to the end by the reception shed and slept there. Reminded me so much of our little westies, I could happy have taken them all home instead of the boot full of plants! I'm sure Casper and Rufus would have welcomed them.

For once most of the plants we bought have already gone into the garden, so no having to keep them in their pots through out the winter months. If the weather stay's good for the rest of the month, we'll be able to get things sorted and put away before it turns really cold.

Today's headliner is Elizabeth, who it turns out is wearing spots! Oh yes she is!! White on white just to make it hard to see! So her photo will also be going on the Sasha fb group for their spotty week!

On the doll front a few pieces of sasha dolls clothes have arrived but still no dolls! Yes it cannot last !

No more dolls have sold, although I have listed a few more this weekend. It's barely made a dent in finding me some space as I'm now surrounded by boxed up dolls! And even if every single one sold, iy will just have freed up on shelf in the doll cabinet!!

It's also taking so long, getting the dolls, redressing them into their original clothes, taking their photos,  finding their boxes or bags if they had one, then boxing them up , listing them and then finding somewhere for them all to stand while they await a new home!

Which is why the stories of the Sasha's have fallen by the wayside! I just need to take some time out to get the photos done. Plus I have a great story planned for December involving Granny, Bruno and his hearts desire...

So I'm off to try and find two doll bags and one doll outfit, which i know I put somewhere safe....

Have a lovely healthy doll filled week

Dee
