Oh yes, It's almost non stop !!!
Well I am in full get it done mode, so I have been emptying out the studio so that I can get into it and start getting it sorted !
Each night I have gone to bed making plans of what to do, what do move out, what to keep in, will this work, is this a good idea or that a better one.
Early in the week I started with the easy I'll go through the rainbow plastic drawers with the plan to reduce three down to two. I sold on quite a few pairs of shoes and thought I'd cleared a whole drawer ! Yes that's right One ! Drawer ! Mm
But I have also been moving all the boxes and bags out of the room and placing them on the patio table which is under cover so safe from any rain.
First off I decided that the smaller of the two display units could come out of the space and move indoors. So it was emptied out and taken indoors and is now up in my bedroom and already full !!
The space from moving the smaller display unit.
One plastic drawer unit removed from above another and a small wooden glass doored cupboard removed for a moment and the pine cupboard in the corner which was partly covering the window. This cupboard holds all my fabrics and sewing items but I could only open one door fully and the other partly, so annoying and made for untidiness inside.
Now I wanted to put the smaller glass cupboard on top of the wooden fabric cupboard, in the space made by moving out the other cabinet. But when I measured the two cupboards heights together they were one inch too big to fit under a rafter that stretches across to support the roof ! Drat ! I thought shall I ask Paul to cut an inch or two off the one I wanted on top ? But then decided well I could maybe put some shelves above instead.
However when I mentioned to Paul about having to store the other small cupboard in the old workshop, he suggested he could always cut an inch or two off it. . . . So naturally I said well If you could . . . .
So today I cleaned out the glass cupboard and Paul cut the required amount off the bottom, I emptied the fabric cupboard and he helped me move it in place then put the now cut down cupboard on top.
So now it's in place fabric back in and Shelves filled. Although things could still be moved about.
Now tomorrow , I'll be finding space to clear off top of drawers and removed them in order that we can move the chest of drawers over into the corner by the window. This will allow me more space where the kitchen room setting is on the other side of the drawers.
The chest of drawers will only slightly cover the window, not like the cupboard which meant the blind caught on the cupboard and it was almost impossible to open the window.
The windows have been cleaned for the first time in about two years !!
Please don't forget to check out the sales page, it's at present ever changing.
Today's headliner is an old photo of Claudia, Liberty and Ginny, no time for doll photos at present I'm afraid .
