SUNNY SUNDAYS

 

So a busy week! You can stop laughing ! I have in fact been busy. . .ish ! I have started on sorting out my studio and also decided that things had to go ! We, also started on removing the things we'd stored in the old workshop over the winter, so that is also slowly emptying.

 I started by selling off a few pairs of unused shoes and a couple of boys sets. Then started looking at my cupboards, full of treasure , to me, stuff according to Paul and to much of it ! The cad !

Anyway I was hard and this set of Meileg beach huts, complete with mice was put up for sale. I have to say they did look lovely standing on the display cabinet shelf. What I'd like is a row of doll sized beach huts. . . . 

I have also decided that one of my French prams that fit Sasha can go, and will be looking at other items to go.

So far not much of a dent but at least a start has been made.

We have also been working on the garden, making changes about where certain pots need to go and and planting some up for summer colour.

I also redressed Arabella and needed to find her some shoes to go with her outfit 

and one thing led to another and the next thing I was sorting out the Rosie Bloom shoes into matching colours 

Pinks and reds along with some soft yellow

Blues, greens and others waiting for a drawer. I do so love Rosie's shoes, most of the dolls I own are wearing them at present.

I have lots of other makers shoes and will be sorting out a few to move on over the coming week.

On another note, six months or so back I was offered one of those holy grail dolls !! Now if it had been a few years back, I would probably have snapped their hand off to buy the doll but although I love it, it's only calling me slightly and not enough to make the massive search for the funds to buy it.

Yes it's a very hen's teeth rare unisex/ boy no navel doll !  Dressed here as a girl but to me it would be a boy, this gorgeous new looking doll is up for sale by a friend. Part of me is , screaming what are you doing !!!! Buy him ! but I'm wobbling on the fence , so time will tell

  I'VE CAVED IN AND AM GOING TO ADD HIM TO THE FAMILY 

Todays headliners are the twins, Sapphire and Violet. They are wearing their new shorts by Carol Ann.

They are very excited that they can get outside and be in the garden almost all day after school.

Now on the doll front. . . . there is a doll waiting in the wings . . . . one of the reason's I'm getting my selling act together.  I'll say no more for now but they will be joining the village clan.

Brussel's joined a couple of my other green bears, Flynn and Mr Cuddles.

They of course will not be going , although they need moving to the self with the other greens.

I did buy another green bear in the week but he was supposed to arrive on Friday by Evri, no sign, then I awoke to an email saying he'd been delivered at 7.53 am. . .  so I searched the carport no sign , I checked the supposed photo of where this parcel had been left . . . a totally black photo !! So I have complained and they are supposed to be looking into it !  I do hope he turns but, it was a bargain price and a lovely bear and it would be a shame if he was lost.

UPDATE ! He arrived unannounced this morning, his box being left under the carport and the first I knew anything was am email saying that they had closed the case now he'd been delivered !!

A very happy addition to my green bear collection.

So things are slowly happening as the days warm up and the old workshop should be empty soon, then things can happen. . . .
