THE LAST SUNDAY OF MAY

 

So only six days of this month left ! Time certainly flies when you are having fun ! 

Most of the week's been taken up with the garden and more in my case deciding what can go from the studio in order to try and make some space. I have to say this is a slow job because as soon as photos are taken and I go onto the laptop to put the item /items up for sale, I then get side tracked and much time is wasted ! 

One of the things that's waylaid me is the Dolly Treasures little videos, search them out if you have not seen them ,an amazing artist, her stock of dolly treasures and the wonderful scenes she sets up from them. A lot of her dolls are Blythe dolls but oh to have a whole weekend just to sit and look at all the things she has tucked away on the shelves and in the drawers along with all the dolls. I say a weekend but that would probably only touch the surface ! 

But she has inspired me to get a move on with sorting out my dolly treasure and space. In order to get back to setting up the dolls for their stories like I used to. But did also make me think, oh why did I sell this or that ! However it's done and in truth it's not like I don't have more than enough other props available to be used !! lol

Todays headliner is Ginny, who was changed into this smart shorts dungaree set by Betsy May.

In fact I was not intending this outfit for her but I think it really suits her and she is very happy with it.

On the doll front, there are two dolls travelling from two different continents on their way here ! Plus I did by a new outfit for one of the dolls and added a couple of t shirts and then a dress to my purchases, so a little spend but only on clothing for the dolls.

I also received this little car, for my little friend Roche doll Jonny, I did  a swap with another small Roche doll I had and a little cash. Which was great as I feel like It cost me next to nothing even thought obviously there was the doll's cost too.

I have sold several small items, which has been lovely, especially since a couple of them have just been sitting around for years unused and not needed. But in the scheme of things, I have so much it will need many more items to sell to make a proper difference  but also I do need to keep a certain amount of things for the dolls photos etc.

On that note I need to be off to the studio or workshop and move a few things and find a few things to sell, It's a blustery day, so that should help propel me down the garden !!
