We up here don't want to know about it! We're sticking it out for at least for another week in our Summer gear as I'm upset enough about the clocks going back the day after your Chat n' Snap as I hate the earlier darker evenings.... but at least it will give me an hour longer down there with Chon.
Well it's been lovely and warm down here all weekend but it's getting time to think about changing these children into some warmer clothes before the sudden change in the weather which will arrive just when we think there will be no cold weather!! :) That's the good thing about the CnS being that weekend we all get an extra hour on Sunday!!
We are really looking forward to changing to the warmer wear here Dee and I will love seeing how you dress your boys and girls with long sleeves, sweaters, coats and such. Fall is a wonderful time of color too. Can't wait :) xxx
I love that we have changing seasons so that we can dress them in warmer clothes or cooler ones depending on which time of year it is! Fall is such a spectacular time of year especailly with all the wonderful colours nature adds to the mix :)xxx
I really really don't want to even think about it not being summer anymore, but I have to admit that even here I'm noticing that it's not quite so hot....and we've had some rain too, which although it was really needed as we'd not had any since about April, I still don't really want that much. I also don't like the darker evenings but it doesn't get dark any earlier than 6.30pm here even in the middle of winter, which is a bonus......and as it happens whilst I'm in England, I will get one hour more with my family!
Although I hate snow, when I need to drive to work, I really love the change in seasons that we have, the colours of autumn with the days still warm but the nights cooling, the crisp winter days bright that you wrap up against and feel so snug and warm when back inside, the coming of spring with the plants starting to grow and the days get longer, then summer with it's warmth and long light evenings! With any lucky Winter will go quickly and we'll be back to spring in no time!!! Hugs Deexx
Oddly, in the dying days of September, we are praying for a real downpour. Our sprinkler is going at the moment as the garden is so dry that even our deep rooted fruit bushes and trees are drying out to such an extent that the branches snap if I brush against them. Our pond is low too..........but no doubt, in a couple of weeks, we'll be wishing for a glimse of the sun. It has been an odd year, weatherwise.
They said this month's been extra dry! although it's raining here at the moment !! But not heavy just that drizzly stuff! You can have a nice week of steady rain to fill the pond then we'll go for the warm days and cool nights of Autumn, with plenty of sunny days and a nice mild winter!!
