This is the photo of the Unisex doll I saw, they are Slate eyed and they have Brunette, Blonde and the harder to find Red hair.
Wonderful I would love a short haired gotz slated eyed girl I thought and bought this unisex.
And this is who arrived! Valentine a BOY ! Yes this unisex insisted that she was a he ! and he was not wearing any dresses or any thing that would make him a girl!
So this month's Brunette is a unisex , I have the male version , He is called Valentine, he likes to dress well and is a lovely friendly lad.
Maybe one day I'll buy another one a girl......but if this is anything to go by when she get's here. she'll throw off her dress and demand a pair of trousers!!!

I've always thought that this 'unisex' was a great idea from the Gotz Company although I agree that some perhaps tend to look more boyish or girly depending on the facial paintings which gives them their overall expressions.

I agree they are a good idea and it's so unique that they will look like a boy to one person and a girl to another!

There are two on Shelly's site now and, as I mentioned to her, one is telling me he is a boy and wants to take off the dress, whilst the other is saying, ' Why? We are girls, aren't we?'

DeleteI do like this young unisex chap, he is rather a dashing sort, don't you think? He always seems very 'artistic' to me, there is a definite flair to his personality. I think he makes a great boy, much more than he would a girl. And yes, he'd look great with Sansa on holidays!!

I do agree totally Sharon, he is very dashing and loves to be creative, likes to design rooms and all the soft furnishing too! He's said he wants to re upholster the sofa!! I'm waiting to see what fabric he's thinking of using before I agree!! :)
