ReplyDeleteThank you for your birthday greetings. You see Connor, I am happily returning to childhood so I'll soon be young enough to go to nursery school with you and play with all those lovely, sticky finger paints. We'll have such fun.
As to cake Mr. Mossy, that might come your way (here I am giving you my special, head-teacher's Paddington Bear quelling child and cub stare) IF THE CHAT'N'SNAP GOES WELL, WITH NO BEARS OR TODDLERS SPOILING THINGS FOR MRS. MUM, MR DAD OR VISITORS...... & YES THAT DOES INCLUDE LUCAS, SO WATCH HIM CLOSELY!!!

Thanks Dee and Ronny! Had an odd but interesting day, helping a friend plan a legal case with his solicitor, but had a lovely dinner cooked by B on my return and am going out to lunch for a proper celebration tomorrow.

ReplyDeleteI just discovered that my birthday treat lunch out is actually a smoke screen - the finale to the day is to be .... a trip to the theatre? a visit to a stately home? a spa treatment? NO, none of those. B has booked......wait for it..... is th suspense killing anybody?.................................................a visit to Boots the Parmacist to have MY FLU INJECTION! What a treat, I just can't wait, LOL.
But I did receive boots (the wearable type), chockies (the weight on the hips kind), books(the lets igore domestic requirements because this is interesting kind), indoor plants (the flowering kind), outdoor plants (the bare root, ready to plant out kind) and, of course, a doll (the sashakind)- soon to be two more dolls (the Maru and Zwergnase kinds). So, I'll be good, enjoy my lunch, then meakly roll up my sleeve and be grateful for all those wonderful gifts.
Deservedly spoilt.....the best kind!
