Well the weather was wonderful , if not a little too hot at one point. These are some photos I took just before the open visitors arrived.

The day went very well , lots of visitors , who were very complimentary about the garden.
The time passed very quickly and it was all over in a couple of blinks! Very glad we did it as the garden is now looking lovely and clear of clutter, so we can potter about and enjoy the summer.

And finally I can get back to setting up my Sasha Village Studio !
Have a great week and be careful in this hot weather!
*********************************************************************************
it looks lovely, especially in the sunshine, so no wonder you got lots of compliments. Hard work to get to this stage but worth it - now you really can enjoy it knowing you've cleared stuff and best of all you can have fun with the Sasha studio now and the twins can help maintain the garden at its best.
ReplyDeleteIt will be lovely to sit back and just enjoy it for a while especially with the heat they are predicting for the rest of this week.
DeleteGreat photos and views of your garden rooms enabling us to see just how much time, hard work and effort (not to mention MONEY!) has gone into getting it to this state.
ReplyDelete(Daren't even look at my tiny back garden this morning after seeing this post!)
Good to think that after all this hard work you can now almost sit back on your patio seating and enjoy the fruits of your labour for the rest of the Summer.
PS. Have noticed some super background spots for your Sasha photos!
Thank you Kendal, I did them in a way I hoped would guide you round the garden and back again.
DeleteNeither of us have ever smoked and Paul only drinks on occasion and me never, so we can afford to spend money on our garden plus most of what you see statue or feature wise came with us or as been purchased over the years. The Venus statue cost me £14 about 15 / 20 years ago and even at that time she was very cheap, we bought her on the spot in case they changed the price if we returned!
Now it's all tidy I won't get back inside after taking Sasha photos to find some old tin or pot spoiling the background !
Oh, how lovely Dee! I am always impressed by your garden but seeing each garden 'room' on one post has been special, even by your and Paul's standards.
ReplyDeleteCONGRATULATIONS TO YOU BOTH! But how did you keep the likes of Lucas and Mr. Mossy from interfering and getting up to public nuisance tricks?!
I've always wondered, how big is your garden in total?
J xx
Thanks Jenni. Glad you managed to follow the route through the garden.
DeleteLucas and Mr Mossy are taking in the air on the coast and will return later this week.. hopefully ..
Our garden is 150 ft long 30 ft wide at the house going down to about 23 ft at the very bottom of the garden. xx
Wow - that is an amazing garden, so many different rooms, very interesting <3
ReplyDeleteIt really does look gorgeous Dee, well done the pair of you!!! I'm sure the visitors loved visiting you, I know I would :)
