Granny has heard that soft toys are this years big Christmas seller, so she is filling the window with soft animals and hoping they will all be sold.
" BRUNO ! What are you doing? where are you ? " calls Granny loudly so Bruno can here from inside the shop.
" Argh huff ouch ! "
Granny spots Bruno wobbling about on top of the window display boards !
"What are you doing? " gasps Granny " Don't you fall on those toys ! I don't want to have to reduce their price before anyone's even seen them ! "
Bruno mumbles something granny cannot hear
" Pardon ! " calls granny
" Oche ! You told me to argh move the blue bear " Bruno dangerously leans forward towards the blue panda reaching out slowly as he wobbles even more on the edge !
"Yes the blue bear behind the counter, not the blue panda in the window ! "
"Huh ! " Bruno mumbles before trying to ease himself backwards which is followed by a shaking of the display and a loud thud as he disappears from view !
Granny looks to heaven and counts to ten before asking " How's the gorilla ? "
More mumbling can be heard from Bruno before " Hum I think he may need restuffing? "
Granny heads to the door, before having a last look about and sighing " It's no wonder we never make any money " then heads inside to see just how much stuffing a gorilla will need !
Uuuhm Granny! You are too hard! Bruno is working so hard, always trying to do his best... It would be so much more nice to give him a toy for himself to play with, not always letting him labour... see, Christmas is coming...
ReplyDeleteLike all those closest to us, they are the ones who get the moans and groans but Granny does love Bruno and will be sure he gets a lovely Christmas present, I'm sure . . .
