Granny, Bruno and Nina are busy getting the Christmas stock into the shop. They were expecting a delivery this morning, however only a very small box arrived ! Calls were made ! Curses uttered ! But soon light started to fade, so tools were downed and the shop was shut!
However this did enable the workman, to come along and close off the street so it will now be pedestrians only ( Delivery vans after 6pm and before 8 am )
Paving still needs adding but Granny can open in the morning as usual.
Granny's delivery did not arrive because the delivery driver needed to collect the box from the storage facility.
However this is the storage facility !! and it turned out that the box required for Granny was naturally at the very back on the right inside on the bottom shelf of the cupboard beneath the worktop ! So everything on the floor between the door and the cupboard required moving and sorting , however it did enable the storage manager to look in the large yarn box, find the large Christmas snow globe and a few bits for the small doll cupboard!
But also made said storage manager realise that she really needs to get a handle on all these props ! The new year will be interesting!
