A NEW PLANT FOR THE GARDEN....

We popped out to the garden centre to get some new secateurs, owing to the fact that the best pair  appeared to have vanished into thin air!! We are both of course in the clear! So they must have taken themselves off into the wide blue yonder to prune and cut alone!!!

We finally gave up waiting for them to return and went to buy another set , which of course means we will discover them sometime this week where  he? she? left them.

Of course we were only going to buy the one item , no plants! we did not need any more plants! We have no space for any more plants!......we came home with three! Which for us is a small miracle ..only three.!!

One was a Rose that the DH wanted , by David Austin called Wollerton Old Hall a lovely climbing rose with a strong fragrance, we have around 70 plus roses in the garden most by David Austin, their roses are so beautiful and very hard to resist ! As you can see! the second plant was a white phlox, we love  phlox and think they are lovely plants and the third was a new Delphinium called Coral Sunset.

Paige was very interested in the new colour Delphinium........

" It's very pretty mum "

" I love the colour "

" Look " says Paige " This flowers bent over! Does it have a scent? "

She pulls the bent stem back so she can sniff the flower.

" It does not have a scent!" states Paige disappointed
" But it's a very lovely flower and a beautiful colour " says Mum " just like your new
smock and shorts set by Sarah"

"Well " says Paige climbing down off the flower pot " Where are you going to put it? "
" That's a very good question Paige !" sighs Mum......

    1. You know that you must have because you made me on my blog today promise to let you win this time!

Beautiful Floral post Dee. I too love flowers and so have to limit my visits to the garden centres as I find it, like I do with Sasha Dolls, too hard to resist and my tiny garden is already filled with evergreen shrubs.

Love how the Delphinuim colour perfectly matches Paige's new VS outfit.
Hadn't realised that it was you who had snapped up that outfit. Fab choice for Paige!

Yes you have beaten Kendal because we watch the white Queen but not the Ice Queen which is why you beat her :))

  3. You know what? I think The Borrowers really do exist, because we have things that go walkabout and then turn up the moment we replace them! I have two bottles of Dettol gone missing.....and that stuff is not cheap to buy here in Spain, being imported and all!!!
Love the new plants though, but particularly love your little redhead, Paige, in her sweet summery dress. I think she looks cute as a button standing on the upturned flowerpot smelling the blooms!
And I think the colour of the Delphinium works so well with her hair, her outfit and her shoes! A perfectly well co-ordinated girl!
