I DREAMED A DREAM

I dreamed a dream in days gone by
When hope was high and
life worth living
I dreamed my hair would never die
I dreamed that it would go on living
Then I was young and unafraid
and dreams were made& used & wasted
There was no ransom to be paid
No shampoo unused, no brush unwasted....

I had a dream my hair would be
So different from this hell I'm living
So different now from what it seemed
Now my hair has killed the dream I dreamed......

  2. LOL, now you have me singing that song and I'll be doing so all evening and probably in my sleep. Of course it helps that I'm a very big Les Mis fan, so it's not so bad!
I will post a photo of my brunette girl, she is also now very very bald!!!
This little girl of yours will be beautiful, once she's wigged, I can't wait to see her!!

    1. Glad you knew the tune :) i thought she looked like poor Fantine when she'd had all her hair cut off and sang that song!

That is the problem if their hair is falling so badly , as much as you might want to keep them with their original hair if becomes a problem shredding everywhere.

Will be trying on a couple of wigs and will post a photo or two!

    1. It is was SAD but then Good as I can re wig her without any guilty due to her having empty plugs all over the front of her head, so no hiding that!

  5. No This is not Stevie. Because Stevie looked so nice with her new eye's by Shelly and her shoulder length hair < I had to find another girl with very bad hair to re wig and I found this young lady! Her hair was really bad and had to be removed which I did yesterday when she arrived.

So now she gets to wear the wigs!!

Yes, unfortunately you gained the 'first here point' this time as I had turned my laptop off eralier last night. Well done.

    2. NOW that's NOT a very NICE reply....although I had a smile!
(A sure sign that you are still surrounded by teenagers and kids in their early twenties.)

Me thinks a polite 'Thank you, Kendal' would have been better for me at my AGE....and POSITION!!!!!

  7. IMO it's always nice to have a doll (or two) that can be wigged due to the falling hair problem as it presents so many eye/hair colour combinations that are sometimes required for different looks with some of the outfits.

Entering the 'wig domain' is another great avenue of Sasha collecting to explore. There are some fantastic styles available nowadays.

    1. I did once have a pintuck whose wig was removeable and I bought several wigs to ring the changes but fopund I just left her in the one and then it drove me mad when it kept moving!!! So in the end I sold her and all the wigs!! ( Wish I'd kept them wigs NOW!) So not to sure this one's wig wont get stuck on when I find the right one.....but will have to wait and see..

  8. The reason why Pintuck's wig would be slipping is that she had a smooth bald head whereas this little soul has some of her own hair left to hold it steady.

I agree though that it is maddening to have sold off all your other wigs but I'm sure that you will soon have gathered another lot knowing your love of spending.
I think that I have bought between 10 to 15 wigs in various styles over the years, although I don't have as many dolls needing wigs as I used to but nice to have, just in case.

    1. That could well have been the case! So hopefully this little stubble head will keep her wigs in place!

Yes it is annoying to have sold them wigs off, especially as I did love them! But as you say with my love of spending ( I am sure it's not just me :) that loves to spend on their Sasha's ) I will soon acquire a few!!
These one's I will keep even if I decide to stick one to her head! just in case :)
