WIG BY ANY OTHER NAME...

Cornelia is trying on a wig for look and style....

Looks quite nice , she is wearing a new set of pj's by NiKita and some red birtenstock's by Marti

a closer view. Does it need pulling back? but then the holes may show?

A close up of her ringlets!!

  1. I love her PJs, they're too nice to go to bed in and not be seen! Her Birkis are gorgeous, that Marti is very clever to make them look so authentic.
I like the wig but am not entirely sure if it is the right one for Cornelia....maybe it just needs pulling about a bit, being a bit full of curls, it could just be that it's such a different look for her than the normal long straightish hair that she'd have originally come with that it kind of throws me a bit. I'd say to give it a few days, let it relax a bit and I'm sure it will be perfect for her. Actually, I'm absolutley hopeless with wigs....so I'm the last person to be leaving an opinion on it!!!

  2. I must admit I'm not keen on the wig. She just doesn't look like a Sasha...

    1. You beat me there K!!!
      Well Done You!!!

If I am honest, and sometimes I am too honest :) I like the curls but I feel the front of the wig seems a little harsh and needs to be softer as it detracts from her pretty features. Maybe the colour is a tad too dark for her - but apart from that it is fine!!

    2. Thanks Ronny, i thought it's too much hair at the sides, looks abit like she's wearing a helmet!! I'll have to study her re the colour maybe being too dark !

  4. A bit TOO much fullness, curl and ringlets for me as well... but definitely quite passable from the front if flattened down a bit width-wise.
Loving her face and eseacaper's PJs and Marti Murphy's Birkenstocks. Pretty name, Cornelia.

    Gottcha SS-R this time!

    1. Thank you Kendal. It would seem most are of the same opinion about the amount of hair at the sides!
It's such a shame they don't have one of those things wear you can see the wig on your Sasha before you buy!!
I called her Cornelia after that lady I bought her from, It's such a lovely name!

  5. THe wig looks fine from the back - all those curls are very pretty.
But at the front the sides stick out too much, is there any way to pull the sides down a bit?
Cornelia is a lovely name and she has a pretty face. I love the pjs and sandals but wonder if hair like that would go better with a studio style outfit?

    1. Thanks Rosie, Seems we are all pretty much of the same opinion about tha hair at the sides being too much, I may have a fiddle with it tomorrow and see if I can make it not so big!
I'll also try with a studio outfit just to see if it suits more and put photo on.
Now I'll have to try another wig once I buy one!!

    2. If you hacven't got one sorted by then bring her up here with you and you can try her in some of mine to decide what she looks best in.

If not, I will try to put them on one of my dolls so that you can get a good idea of what style you might like on her.

    3. Thanks Kendal, that will be very helpful if she is still wigless! It's so hard to know what will get the look you are after when you cannot actually go to a shop and have a wig trying on session!
