NOW THIS IS MESSY...

The bears sitting waiting for their moment in the spotlight! getting buried under other props that have been left about!

Kate and Belle still reading but now behind the table and chairs that need somewhere to be stored!!

The Christmas cards are the only reason that I moved the items of clothing and shoes and props that have been littering the shelves!

One of the worse places is side cupboard beside sofa where I sit!! piled with Sasha things and bags of wool and props , that little basket contains lots of small things that need putting away!!

And this is when I am NOT changing any one!!!

Right I'm off to tidy up , Oh did I say I'd found the missing Halloween props ? They were in the computer cupboard in a box right beside the computer I use for the blog......... only took me six weeks to check that box!!

  1. Dull women have super-tidy homes. We have far too much to enjoy in life and are such INTERESTING people that we don't have time to worry about placing every item in perfect order. That's my excuse for my normal chaos and I am sticking to it!

    1. I would love to believe that but I think I have an untidy house because I work long days and then spend half my time on computer when home!! When I worked shorter days and did not have any Sasha's I had a much tidier house!!!
But I'll keep the Sasha's and the house will just have to make do with the odd blitz now and again!!

    2. Thought it would get tidier when I retired ... not so! People seem to think I'm likely to be bored and need them to give lots of little jobs to do, then there's essential Sasha-ing to do and I do spend a lot of time on line..... but we have to keep up with all that is going on in cyberspace, don't we? Then there are all the essential blog readings to do and....

Somebody would make a fortune if they would just invent a self-tidying house. I'd have a cleaning lady if it didn't require me to clean up enough to allow her to do the cleaning, if you understand what I mean.
New Years resolution for 2014 is actually a New Years revolution - I'll revolutionize my use of time and allocate some extra time for cleaning. Who am I kidding, I'll break that one before January is over!

    3. I already get asked to do the little job for people while I'm in my lunch hour! And yes we must help keep track of what's happening in cyberspace and on odd blo or two! Then we need to check what's available in the world of Sasha and then answer emails and that's half the day gone!
I too would feel the need to clean before the clean came so no savings there! Self cleaning house ? would we know where they had put things??
I love making new years resolutions that will never last the year but fall by the wayside within a very short space of time.. :)) but my intentions are always honourable!!

  3. HA, Ronny. I beat you both on this and the bear post, don't think I've ever done that before. Perhaps you were wrapping Christmas prezzies? Not me. I haven't even bought anything yet.....another example of my normal chaos.

    1. Ronny don't do Christmas, she was probably wrapping up some poor Sasha whose annoyed her and toasting her over a slow burning walnut whip!!!

    2. Well Done Jen!
Well, yes I was tucking into a walnut whip whilst watching X FACTOR which in my opinion went on FAR too long just to announce the winner Sam Bailey who most of the country knew anyway was going to win 10 weeks ago when the show started (:

  4. Ahhhh now that's better!!! I don't feel quite so bad now that I've seen that you're every bit as messy as I am! Luckily for my lounge though, I have my dolly/sewing room and THAT is where the mess really is....it's awful sometimes, and it's like trying to get through a minefield just going from the door to my work table!!!!

    1. The worse is in the doll room!!! I plan on getting a nice tall pine cupboard with glass doors next year to put lots of things in perfectly ordered and displayed...that is until I need to use something and it does not get put back and everything looks like a bombs hit it!! BUT it will be in a cupboard.... :))

  5. PS If you need somewhere to store that lovely table and chairs so that the girls can use their lounge again....just pop it in a box and address it to me, it's just what I'm looking for!!

    1. Nice try Sharon but I love that new table which goes so well with my chairs , it's not going anywhere except maybe into my 'Sasha studio' when I get it sorted next year :)

  6. If it's a case of choosing between messy/untidy/lived-in-look and blog posts or tidy/neat/everything in it's place and no blog posts on account of spending that time putting everything away......I'll choose the former every time! SO, you have my permission to live and carry on as you are.

    1. Hooray!! It's official I can be untidy in the interest of my creative art !!!! Oh that's sounds right posh that does!! I may have to start wearing a long flowing scarf! well until it gets hooked round something I have not put away and tries to finish me off!!

Next year I will try to get tidy AND still do blog posts...it's a big ask but I am sure I can do it....:)

Don't change just stay the way you are...that is why we love you! (sometimes)
