BLUE IS THE COLOUR

It's great when you buy one thing and then later buy something else that without even trying turnout to be a perfect match!

I bought the multi coloured sweater from Gill a month of so back , she'd made it for a small Gotz doll and having sold them was selling off their clothes. When I saw this I loved the colour and thought it may fit a baby Sasha so bid on it and won.

Then at the Chat n Snap I bought these gorgeous blue toddler cords from Michelle. I dressed Lucas in the trousers to show them on the CnS post and he was standing around in the trousers and the checked shirt from his dungarees set, when I remembered the sweater and wondered if it would fit him .

Well you can see the answer above, not only does it fit but it's blue tones are an exact match to the trousers!
I love it when my random purchases make a match!! It's rare but then so great!!

  1. I whole-heartedly agree with everything said here!
So let's hope that looking so smart and angelic it's the start of him 'turning over a new leaf!' After all just remember how well behaved he was at the CnS. Not an ounce of trouble!
I'm a firm believer of good parenting maketh the child!

    1. Thanks Kendal. If only he was a little angel unfortunately there is still a way to go....he was so traumatised by his last home , it could take YEARS to get him on the track track. I am not so sure he behaved at the CnS , I here tales of swag bags and no payments!!

  2. No chance!!! He is bad to the bone :)
When on earth are you going to get the poor boy some winter shoes...his little feet must be frozen!!! I shall be reporting you to the NSPCS (NATIONAL SOCIETY OF PREVENTION OF CRUELTY TO SASHA) A non profit making organisation to protect Sasha against bad hair cuts, bad home made clothing and general play related ill treatment). I do offer a foster service , so perhaps Lucas can come back and live with me :)

  3. At least the little Munchkin above HAS shoes, some of mine are bare foot all year round. This aging hippy mother doesn't get roud to buying enough to go round.... OK, Ronnie you have grounds to call the NSPCS.

If Lucas really is bad to the bone, he is probably taking of beautiful, outfit-matching shoes or boots that Dee has bought for him and put the sandals back on, just to get Mrs. Mum in trouble.

    1. Timmy is no saint, believe me, Ronnie. He has been 'helping' to sell poppies at our local Royal Legion home and all the elderly residents report that their stashes of chocolate have vanished.

There was also a trail of small, jelly and custard footprints seen leading away from the fridge. When it was opened, three large bowls previously filled with trifle were empty. The next morning, Timmy cried off poppy flogging duties, complaining of a 'poorly, sicky tummy.'

Then there is the sad and sudden floating upside down of the whole shoal of tropical fish in the dayroom. When asked, Timmy said they were hungry but jelly made them have poorly, sicky tummies, just like his and perhaps, if the staff didn't stop asking him questions so that he could go and lie down, he might also be found doing being dead like little fishies ....... Hmmmm.....

    2. Quick Jen we'd best set a guard on the houses! We don't want out poor lads taken off to that cold old Palace Ronny calls home! She'd have them climbing all over the underneath of Vdubs covered in oil and who knows what!

  6. Well despite what you all say, I do think that there is hope for Lucas, but ONLY if he comes to visit me here in Spain so that we can start over with him!
As for his outfit, it'll be perfect for a trip over here, it's a bit chilly at the moment so he will need a sweater and the colour of it perfectly matches the beautiful blues skies we have!
There you go....as they say SORTED!!!
    Big hugs Sharon xxx

    2. Fifteen, Dee? Clearly you only had girl children - boys of 15 are aliens, a completely different species to the dear little boys that were round our knees as toddlers. They speak Grunt....here are a few examples:

Have you done your homework, dear?
      Ugh!
Would you like chips for tea?
      Yuh!
      Could you empty the bin?
      Ugh! Yug! Grrrrrr.
      Where's your sister?
      Bluh! Shuh! ******!

See? - only one son now 34 and I'm fluent in Grunt already.
Add to that, stinky trainers and muddy rugby gear....No - toddlers for ever, says I!

(Said 34 year old is on the mobile to his co-worker as I type - it appears that Grunt is still the language of choice between 30-something British males)

    3. This is true I did only have girl children , who at fifteen delighted in telling most clearly their opinions! So no I am not clear in grunt talk :) Maybe the toddlers should stay toddlers..forever!! :)

  7. Lucas is precious Dee. It is a very special moment when you have a separate top, bought separately, and it matches perfectly with a skirt or pants. I love it when an outfit comes together and Lucas looks just perfect! :) xxx
