JENNY AND CLAUDIA

I decided to take a few photo's of Jenny in her winter coat and dungarees.

Unfortunately due to it being dark outside and having to take photo's inside they are not as clear as I would like.

This one's a little brighter and shows her sweet face much better.

I do love this girl, she is very sweet.

Jenny's been joined by Claudia my 1970 girl.

Claudia is slightly taller than Jenny.

Jenny and Claudia are happy to be together, Claudia says the village was being over run by the Gotz Sashas
and although she loves them all she feels that a few more Trendon's would not go amiss!

Jenny takes off the beret to show Claudia her shorter hair, Claudia thinks it's great .

The girls wonder if mum knows how to use a brush? She never seems to have one to hand when she's taking photo's ! Never mind let's go find a couple of Hattie's hats !!

    1. Hmmmmmmmm! Will I feel the freezing wrath of the Ice Queen? I'm turning traitor and allowing a few Gotz kids to settle at Bryn Derw. Unless I become very wealthy, they will not becomeas numerous as the Trendons, but they are there or coming soon. Somehow, the later Gotz kids never seem to draw fire from confirmed Trendonites in the same way that the older ones do.

Lovely girls, Dee and their clothing is perfect for this time of year. Bertie wants to know, are they too girly for a little 6 year old boy? He thinks the girls look great and would value Valentine's opinion - do these wonderful, warm dungarees work as unisex clothes?

    2. Jen! I am disappointed in you girl!! PLEASE don't encourage our Dee to post up any more Gotz photos for a while...I can't cope :) And as for you Jen...letting the little devils in to your heart and home!!!
How are things....I am happy to report I have got my TRENDON waif boy finally and am looking forward to the big reveal in a month's time...how is your Trendon lad?

    3. Hi Ronnie
Trendon is still week at the knees - or rather at the hips, neck and shoulders. He is a cute boy though, so will be receiving surgery when Senior Nurse and the Surgeon have space in their hospital.
Never fear -Trendons still rule the roost here. I finally succumbed and decided to live with my dear friend Ellie's last request to me and decided that, apart from a couple of exceptions who choose to move to more organised homes, I'll keep the whole of her family of Trendons and the one early Gotz boy.

Good thing I don't actually have to feed the little beggars as it would cost a fortune!
I have been challenged to count them all and say how many live at Bryn Derw in total, but I can't because they won't stand still. All I can say is that there are LOTS of them here. Some people keep talking about having too many dolls but I say there's no such thing. Half a dozen G*** dolls will be lost in the crowd of Trendons. Of course, it all has something to do with you.....I believe my first purchase was for Emrys and his baby brother Gwynfor, both of whom came from your house.......

    5. Yep! I am afraid to say that many of my old girls and boys have ended up with Sasha people all over the world...but it has been a pleasure because there are some super people out there...and you can include yourself on the 'super person' list....but only if you stop buying MORE Gotz dolls :)

    6. Think these two came from your DD many moons ago!

  3. Well, in my opinion variety is the spice of life... My favourite dolls are the Gotz NN and I love seeing pictures of them, but I also like most of the Trendon Sashas.

    1. I agree Distel (but don't tell Ronnie! she is a confirmedTrendonophile!) I love the fact that our dolls came from two different countries of origin but can live side by side so well.

    2. I to love the Gotz No novels, they are Sasha's with style :) and the Trendon/Frido's are also gorgeous, so I am happy to have both in my Sasha family:)

  5. I must admit that I was very tempted with Jenny when I first spotted her on Sashadolluk but the usual 'no spare Sasha cash' stopped me dead in my tracks! I am always particularly drawn to the dolls with trimmed hair asthat's the length of hair that I prefer them with but daren't do the job myself.

As I've said so many times it's the Frido brunette/brown eyed dolls that I love the very best in the English series.
Always interesting to note the eye painting changes that just two years made in their manufacturing

Both girls look superb in their '2014 On Trend Village' clothing.

    1. Have you seen the lovely 68 brunette with short hair on Shelly's site? She has such a beautiful face. She's very tempting but ( sh! don't tell the Ice Queen!) I've fallen for an early Gotz girl....

    2. I heard that Jen...your secret is out.. what am I to do with you? Promise me you won't take loads of pictures and feature her on your blog :)

    3. I am very fond of the Frido/Trendon Brunettes as well K, but I hate the falling hair thing and can't live with them...if they start shedding they are out the door...am v.bad Sasha Parent :0

    4. I'm obviously much more lenient with the falling hair syndrome then.
Doesn't bother me so much (probably as mine is now getting much thinner although luckily not coming out in chunks or handfuls) and now I don't do a lot of hair brushing as such with either my own or the doll's hair (remember that you were meant to brush it a hundred times a day?)

I'm now wondering if you've purchased a blonde, brunette or red haired guy to call your TRENDON........though guessing that it's keeping the old brain cells ticking over nicely!

    5. Definitely NOT a redhead...so that narrows it down for you K!!

    6. Yes, Jennie,, I have seen that lovely trimmed haired brunette sidepart but had to quickly 'un-see' her due to lack of funds but do say a quick 'hello' to her every morning.

Thanks for the 'no red head' Gregor info SS which narrows the odds down to 50/50....(although might be a little more odds-on on than that on the side of a blonde..... due to the fact that you can't always guarantee that a brunette won't have falling hair if he was bought via eBay as you mentioned! earlier)

    7. I love that short haired side part brunette with falling hair on Shelly's If I was rich I would bring her home here ! But alas I am not :(

Ronny stop giving Kendal clues you know she's like a dog with a bone and will be worrying at you until you spill the beans!! :)

  6. I'm VERY sympathetic with falling haired Sashas - I've been there and maybe on the way back to it when chemo starts again. Blah!
I just might have to take sweet Tara with me again as she never did really take to any of the wigs I found for her. She featured on my oh so neglected blog as Girl 53 and is a seasoned oncology patient as she went with my dear friend Ellie to keep her company too.

There's nothing like a bald Sasha for a friend when you feel you are not looking your best!
    Jenni

PS Don't tell Ronnie, anybody, but Bertie, my No Nose boy (sorry Bertie, I mean my tiny-but-still-growing-nose boy) is my special pet just now. Jx

    1. I must admit a Sasha is a good friend when you are feeling down. You can position her to reflect your mood, you can give her a hug or you can dress her up and then realise you have spent hours with your Sasha kid and have got nothing else done!!
I will let you off with Bertie, I am fond of the no noses they have something about them ....:)

    2. I love Bertie, you just pipped me to post for him and I'm not that fond of No sorry little nosed boys but he's a keeper.
You should take Tara with you , so she can keep you company and check on what happening to report back to your other Sasha members who will want to know whats what!

Mmm Ronnie saying she's fond of no noses..... Bertie if someone offers you any sweets RUN!!! :)

  8. Two lovely girls Dee, and so nicely dressed, you must have a ton of those coats and dungarees!!!
I am a fan of both 'camps' of Sasha/Gregors!!! I love both the Gotz and the Trendons, so I'm sitting nicely on the fence whilst you argue it out amongst yourselves! :)
    Big hugs Sharon xx
