ANOTHER .....

Christmas gift arrived from my sister Michelle. I love the batik fabric she's been sewing with  and when I saw this dress I said how much I liked it, but with Christmas coming I could not be buying any more things for myself.

So she sent it to my as my Christmas present, so all that mentioning all most every tine we spoke actually worked...result!! :)


Simone very kindly offered to be the first to wear the dress. I so love this fern design and already have c couple of the other colour-way's of this pattern.


The colour of the dress is somewhere between this photo and the one above. So although it looks like there is a fair amount of brown in the dress there really is not that much.
I have teamed it with the Tan boots but A mid to dark blue would looks good as well.


 and I have teamed it with a lovely dark brown Karen W Coat.


A close look at the ferns which are a cross between green and blue.


Simone I think suits the colour. I may try it with a blue coat and boots tomorrow.

    And Simone looks gorgeous in this tone-in-tone combination.

    Simone is gorgeous and really lovely in her new beautiful dress! The fabric is beautiful! I am so glad your "hinting" with your sister was sucessful---what a wonderful sister! Karen W's coat is perfect too and the boots so very nice. A great post! :) xxx

    Lovely, it suits her perfectly, she is a very good choice for this whole outfit. What a nice pressie from your sister.....especially as she got the hints ;)
