Back in August I asked the question of which hair colour to use to re root Jenni's girl Ashlyn, the vote was for the reddy brown. Jenni made that fatal error of saying the words....No Rush!!
Well in September I went on Holiday, October was the Chat n Snap , November the Wedding and of course December Christmas, so poor Ashlyn's been waiting patiently for me to get started.
So finally at the beginning of the week her head was taken from her body.
I narrowed it down to this one ! Which looks darker in the packet but like the one voted on in the light.
So I will share my progress over the next few weeks , it will be slow due to work and other commitments but It will progress, finally. I have already done a couple of the front rows ,I cannot wait to see her with her hair finished and styled.Which should help me get a move on. I do say SHOULD..... :)

ReplyDeleteThanks Louise, I'm sure this poor girl is looking forward to finally seeing her hair! x
DeleteVery good luck with this project and as the saying goes.....slowly but surely!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kendal , most definitely slowly but surely!!
DeleteGood Luck! Once you get started you won't stop...great excuse for not doing the housework :)
ReplyDeleteThanks. However I to find it quite easy to stop due to having to go to work It's remembering to get back to it when i come home!! :)x
DeleteWhat an awful picture- a dolly with a pin in it's head! Brrr!
ReplyDeleteBut I'm admiring you for being able to cure the dolls baldness.
Good Luck for you -and the poor Ashlyn.
It's all right Anne, she's in an out of body experience, it will all be just a bad dream ! :)
DeleteThanks :)
OOH dolly accupuncture! I know just how she feels after the hospital trip today, LOL.
ReplyDeleteExactly , that's the perfect word ! Hoping they did not leave a needle sticking out of anything!!!! :) xx
DeleteI always worry that they might leave a needle sticking IN! The national health ain't what it used to be.....that's why I sent Ashlyn to an exclusive, private clinic!
DeleteThe best things come to those who wait.....Ashlyn will have the loveliest reroot and Jenni will be delighted with her I'm sure :)
ReplyDeleteI look forward to seeing what she looks like when she's all finished :)
Bighugs Sharon xx
This poor things waited more than enough time I think! I'm looking forward to seeing how she turns out!
DeleteHugs Dee xx
How exciting Dee! I had forgotten about this girl and the hair color choices for her rerooting. Looking forward to seeing her transformation! :) xxx
ReplyDeleteI'm not surprised Ginger, it's been so long since she arrived to get her hair re rooted! Hopefully now I have started it won't be too long before she can head off back home :) xx
