COLD THEN HOT !!

It was so cold here last night ( Tuesday ) that we had to wear sweaters and coats in the garden while we toiled away !

Ashley is very kind;y showing you that a coat and hat was required clothing on Tuesday evening!

Then tonight , Wednesday, was lovely and warm!!

We are nearly finished in the garden, so I will be back to play Sasha very soon :) Mind you they are forecasting heavy rain for Friday evening, so I may be able to change a couple of the Sasha's and do a decent blog post on Friday !

  1. Ashley looks so pretty in her coat and hat. I think that wonderful coat was made by Karen, right? I hope things do warm up for you all in the Village. If it rains on Friday, maybe show a Sasha or two in their rain gear! A nice post! :) xxx

    1. Yes it's by Karen :) I love her coats. We have had a lot of rain over night and most of the morning but it's supposed to warm up a little tomorrow. :) xx

  2. Tuesday evening was indeed cold. Luckily I hadn't got around to planting out the first of my Runner Bean plants as they certainly don't like the cold ....or the wind!

  3. Love that coat and hat on Ashley, she's very pretty and the colour is so her!
I saw on the BBC weather today that today and tomorrow will be mid 20s centigrade but that by Sunday it'll have dropped about 10c .... it's too weird, I can't imagine it now. I hope Sunday is clear and fine for your garden opening, as long as it's not raining, I guess that's the main thing :)

  4. Hello Sasha Villagers!

I so understand the hot and then cold weather thing. That seems to be exactly the kind of spring we are having here in hill-covered Central PA! Fortunately it is June now, and things usually settle down by the middle of the month.

Ashley looks lovely in her coat. I have to admit that I am covetous. I am hard-put to find coats for all my children, and my family isn't nearly as large as yours. I'm making a lot of them right now, but as I am no-kind of seamstress, I'm afraid my children will all look rather like Sasha's street children in ill-fitting lopsided clothes. I suppose I could go for Historic accuracy, and model their poorly made clothes as staying authentic to the beautiful Sasha Morganthaler Studio Doll street children series, but I don't think that I have her artistic gift.

Anyway, until I can afford better, I will admire and enjoy your beautifully turned out children, and my children can crowd over my shoulder and point out the styles that they want me to try and emulate with my own poor skills. They are so appreciative of my efforts, bless their sweet hearts!

I love the color scheme on the garden benches from the last post. They are really pretty and the colors compliment eachother so well. Your two new girls are lovely, and it was refreshing to see two independent young ladies who aren't falling head over heels to the self beatificated St. Mossy.

Though it was lovely to see that green-eyed cutie again. He really is adorable in his sincere self-important ways. I love how he takes everything so literally. What a big personality for such a little guy.

By the way, I was looking back over your previous posts because I just love to relive your lovely creative blog, and I saw again the beautiful fireplace and picture window and seat that your DH made, back in 2012 (The Year of the Blondes and the Bears). They are really lovely! He should totally make more to sell. I think they would be a big hit! I would certainly invest to pick up a pair of them. I suppose it is a lot of hard work and expense, but they really are beautiful. Maybe some day you can feature them again.

Once again, a wonderful group of posts, and your Wisteria is absolutely gorgeous. Once we get a proper railing up on our house's front porch, I may try to train one onto an attached trellis. The scent of them is a very strong and happy memory from a beautiful house my family lived in in Germany where many happy childhood memories were made and they are so pretty and almost magical. Have a great Sasha day, and may you continue to find joy in both your lovely family and your beautiful garden.

    Sasha Love!

    1. Hello Elizabeth and the Fern Woodies
Those coats by Karen are much to be admired, I wish I could make them. It's good that your mum is willing to make you coats of much individual style and design, who says straight is 'in'!

Mossy does indeed have a big personality , or so he tells everyone who'll listen ! :)

The window seats and fireplace is waiting for the studio space which should happen in the next couple of months! They are quite heavy but Paul, has three on his order book of the window seats to make but people have to wait due to him working full time.
Hopefully you'll see my next project of the Sasha studio starting soon!

Wisteria's are gorgeous and you should definitely get one and train it up the trellis.

Thank you for your kind wishes and we hope the children of Fern woods enjoy the days weeks and months ahead

      Sasha love
