STEPPING OUT FOR SPRING ONCE MORE

Today was lovely and bright with some SUN! however along with that sun was a cold wind! But I decided it was best to get out with a few dolls that are now in their Spring outfits and take the photos for the next few days posts, due to the soon to arrive windy wet weather!


Today it's Ashley standing among the spring flowers.


This is one of my favourite outfits which is alway worn by Ashley because it really suits her.


The dress is made by Ginny of A Passion For Sasha on Etsy in a beautiful Japanese fabric whch I just had to buy the minute I saw it a few years back. Sense ably Ashley's wearing black tights  and teamed them with bright yellow boots by Lisa Hartley.


 Even with those sleeves and tights , she could still do with a coat!


I think it's time to go in and warm up! Come along Ashley...

    I always love it when certain outfits become to BELONG to certain dolls because they suit them the very best. The trouble then is that here I seem to not want to change them into other outfits since those don't suit them as well...which is such a pity for those dolls not to experience a variety of different clothing made by a variety of different seamstresses. Luckily it's not the case with your Village dolls since you still seasonally change them!
    This little recently created rockery garden with stones/rocks and minature planting and is proving to be the perfect spot for photographing your dolls.

      It's funny how with some outfits and dolls they just gel! I have to confess that Ashley was still wearing the pants to this dress when I undressed her from her winter outfit! So Will have to make sure she gets to wear a Summer one!
      The rockery is a good place to take some quick photos if it's getting windy , cold or about to rain being close to the house and slightly sheltered it's come in handy.

    This outfit really does suit Ashley, she has the perfect colouring for such a bright fabric. The boots are great too, she looks like her legs are encased in bright yellow daffodils.

    Ashley looks as bright and cheery as the daffodils! The colour certainly does suit her nicely.
