"Toby! What are you doing? " says Zak looking amazed
Puffing and groaning Toby replies " What's it look like I'm doing! "
"Well " Zak says " It looks like your pushing the kitchen sink down the garden!"
Toby stops straining against the sink for a moment " Correct!"
" But why ? "
" For our new brother Harry " smiles Toby " it's for the camping ! and I hope he doesn't think I'm going to be doing the washing up!"
" Camping.... Harry.. " mumbles Zak , then realises what Toby means " No Harry said we could go camping with him and we could bring anything BUT the kitchen sink!"
Standing up Toby checks what Zak just said " He said BUT ? as in ? "
" NOT " sighed Zak " as in DON'T bring the kitchen sink !"
"What! " Toby says stunned " I've just spent an hour pulling and pushing that sink up the garden! and now you are telling me he doesn't need it!"
Toby turns and starts walking away, leaving the kitchen sink in the middle of the path !
"Where are you going? " calls Zak " What about the sink? "
Toby keeps walking
"TOBY! TOBY!" calls Zak as Toby keeps walking " You cannot leave the sink here!"
"Oh yes I CAN! " yells Toby without even turning back " It will be fine ! Mum will take it back for me!"

I think I am laughing as much as Zak! Hahahahahaaa
ReplyDeleteJust love Toby and Zak. They are so amusing when 'posted' together and especially in this episode of 'bring anything but the Kitchen sink!'
ReplyDeleteSuch a clever idea and loved how Toby leaves it out there knowing that Mrs. Mum will retrieve it later and bring it back indoors rather than leave it to get spoilt outside.
Thanks a mill Denise for this and a very happy birthday for tomorrow.
They are so mischievous when posted together, well to be fair it's Toby who is and Zak who just happens to get the fall out!
DeleteIt's amazing what gets left about for poor Mum to clear up! ;)
Thank you for the birthday wishes :)
Haha, poor Toby! I would imagine his listening skills are about as good as Mikko's and Tyler's. Good thing Mum is there to help him save face. I think you would have to bring the entire bathroom along to get Daddy Steve to go camping!
ReplyDeleteSteve
Yes Toby's listen skills are second to none! as in he's always second guessing what was said due to not paying the least attention unless it's about him!
DeleteI have to say i'm with Daddy Steve on the camping view! :)
Loved this! Wonder what they are going to SCOUT around for next...:)
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthday.....don't tell me you are 21 again this year.....or are you counting your birthday in DOG YEARS :)
Glad you liked it :) Who knows whats coming... ;)
DeleteYes 21 again! ;) and if I could in dog years , we've had five so I must be five ..now how old does that make you in dog years..20?
:))
ouch! How I love your sense of humour...NOt :) :)
DeleteA great story and your garden is beautiful. As entertaining as the story is, I kept getting distracted by looking at your English garden!
ReplyDeleteThank you on both counts :) Mm the garden is supposed to enhance the story not distract.. lol
DeleteBoys! What are they like?! I remember when my son was little and he never listened to exactly what was said to him and he would get in a strop when he got things mixed up! Mum, of course, was always there to sort it out! I Love the story :) Jane x
ReplyDeleteExactly. I only had girls but my middle girl , you could tell to do something and she go off only to return five minutes later to ask what had I said!!
Deletethanks x
Hahaha, whatever next will those boys get up to in the Sasha Village! Thank goodness they have their mum to bring the cooker back in again for them!!
ReplyDeletexx
who knows Sharon , that Toby is a little menace :)
DeleteGiggling madly - even Bertie wouldn't get that one wrong, Toby!
ReplyDeleteNo Only Toby could make that mistake.. never listens.. unless it's the sound of a sweet wrapper! ;)
