A PICTURE..

Recently I put a lovely photo of one of Liss's Shelly repaint's wearing a pair of white cord dungaree's with hand in pocket, which I love as it makes them look so natural.

I loved the pose so much I thought I would try it out with Stevie my new Shelly repaint girl. Now Liss's girl's hair is tied back in a long plait but Stevie's hair is only to her shoulder's which is nice as that's give's it a slightly different look.

I took the photo outside  and today is very windy ,so had to find a slightly sheltered corner and work quickly before the wind found us and caused damage!

Any way this was the best of the bunch, her dungarees appear a totally different colour ! but they are a very vibrant blue , so that make be why !

She is standing on a white board that seems to have disappeared !

Well  I'm quite pleased with pose but feel I could have done better! It's amazing that in this shot Stevie's eyes appear to be brown! When you would expect all that blue clothing to highlight the blue!

I have added Liss girl so you can compare how I've done!

 Mmm !

Must get a wig like this for Cornelia....

  1. I think Liss's girl is leaning slight more forward from the waist which gives her a more quizzical look, as if she about to question something, whereas I think Stevie already knows rhe answer and doesn't need to ask!
Love the blue of Stevies dungarees, rhey look lovely on her!

    1. I see what you mean Sharon. Stevie does seem the more sure of them.
amazing how leaning one way or another can give a different look to the photo.
Stevie is definitely a Blue kinda girl! :)

  2. I doubt whether I could have found a sheltered spot in my tiny garden today.

Both girls have lovely, but very different poses. Liss' doll is rather more questioning or intently listing to the answer whilst Stevie is looking much more confident and self assured.

Isn't it marvellous that we can have so much fun and artistic creativity with these unique dolls and our cameras.

    1. It is indeed marvellous how much fun and creativity we can have with these lovely Sasha's and Gregor's :)
Their ability to make the pose their 'own' despite what we are trying to achieve is amazing!

    1. I agree Sarah, the actual blue of the dungarees's is totally different to what's show! Luckily both colours look great lol

  4. It looks like the photo is over exposed for some reason, when the whiteout and the colour change. stevie definitely looks more self assured in her pose compared to Liss's girl.

    1. It's the white of the board that she's standing on along with the bright sunlight making the bottom half almost disappear into the board.

Stevie does look much more confident in her pose.
