Today I have changed the dress style to one with a small amount of smocked detail but this makes the dress 'sit' in a different way, so I am undecided if it's on trend or not!

Today we have Claudia wearing her favourite smocked dress by Ruth Hartley, with plain white tights and boots by Lisa and beret by Ruth.

We have lovely warm sunshine today which unfortunately makes taking photo's a slight trial.

I do think that Pinks and Reds suit the brunette girl's.Will have to make her a pink beret to go with this outfit.

ReplyDeleteNow I need to ask, when you say 'on trend', I'm not sure what you mean? You will have to explain to me. Is it that there is a certain 'look' that you're striving for, or that every Sasha mum strives for? Such as the berets etc? Only my girls are worried that they're not 'on trend' but are 'en moda' because they are Spanish children? I don't want them to be worried, in case they get worry lines and wrinkles in their little vinyl foreheads, so I'm hoping you can come to their rescue please!!!!
The on ' Trend ' is what the Sasha village kids are wearing this Autumn / Winter, consists of beret, most important, then yoke style dress and boots, long, short or medium with tights of wearers choice.Your Spanish kids could follow the 'trend' or adapt it to their Spanish style, ie boots and tights may be too hot for Spain they may prefer long socks and shoes.

ReplyDeleteNOT quite on the Sasha Village trend (although very near close) so I'm suggesting that you try again and send that dress over here to us as we had our eye on it last November but it was all sold out before I got there so had to choose one of the other colours on offer instead!
ReplyDeleteNo joking apart, it's fine, although perhaps a little Summery looking for Autumn... just thought that saying that was a way of us finally getting our hands on one!
Her boots are a perfect colour and the beige beret suits the outfit too.
Loving your close up photos these days! Makes you really see and appreciate their beauty.
(A little tip though....just watch the positioning of their left arms in the future as sometimes it can appear to be in a rather award looking position!)

DeleteIt's basically the left hand that hangs awkardly in a few of her photos. It does have a trendacy to do this on it's own without us realising it.

DeleteI agree the dress is not quite with the trend and it's good to know others think the same. I did not realise you'd missed out on this one but then you did get the lovely coffee/cream one that I went back for but was sold out!
