SASHA CELEBRATION WEEKEND PART TWO A

The display was KENDAL'S SASHA BROOD

I have been privileged to see Kendal's Sasha Brood  in their natural surroundings, of Kendal's home where she allows them to stand where ever they wish  except in the Bathroom or Kitchen.

The display at this event was classic Kendal , beautifully thought out, wonderfully arranged and a joy to see.

I took many photo's as seeing them all together was wonderful and I did not want to miss any, so this post is very photo long as I'm going to share most if not all, I may need to do this in two parts.

So get a drink and take a seat and enjoy the feast we saw.

I'll stop here with this beauty and continue with a second post for her brood, so much to take note of and see.

Kendal had the little stands made to support the dolls in various positions and I'll be getting Paul to make me some but with a slight difference when time allows.

Part two b tomorrow.

  1. Thank you for sharing the photos. The Sasha kids are so beautiful, so well dressed and so cleverly arranged. Good thing there were so many toys for the babies, so they didn't get bored and did mischief!

    1. You are welcome, Kendal , having been a teacher knows not to leave her babies without something to entertain them or who knows what they'd have gotten up to! :)

  2. What a beautiful collection of dolls, they're gorgeous. I loved how Kendal used the books and boxes, so simple and yet so effective. And not detracting from the dolls because of their simplicity. Thanks so much for taking and sharing all these lovely photos Dee :)

  3. These are such wonderful photos of the Brood. I had the privilege of helping to set them up. Kendal was so particular about who they stood with and what they were holding and because of it the display was truly amazing. We were blessed that this lovely lady agreed to bring them for us, such a gift for all.

  5. Now I wonder just WHO is daft enough to own ALL these dolls??? Surely she must be 'stark raving mad!' Guessing that it MUST be TIME to DOWNSIZE some now!

    1. Mmm I wonder too! I think she'll find it hard to down size but I know she'll keep the pick of the brood :) xx Good luck with the down sizing!

  7. A beautiful post Dee and thank you! I, too, was very fortunate to see each doll up close while helping a bit with the displaying....which was pure joy by the way and not a task at all. :)

Kendal was so very generous of her time and her talent for dressing and displaying the Sashas. She brought them organized in their boxes and had specific ideas in mind when it came to the arranging of the dolls. The doll stands were wonderful and made of wood which is nice to see as opposed to metal stands. The use of the books and twine was pure inspiration. All so lovely. A once in a lifetime Sasha exhibit for me. Just amazing. :) xxx
