So that's Kendal's Sasha Brood, a gorgeous cross section of Sasha's Gregors and babies in wonderful clothes .

I could spend hours with this dolls and their wonderful clothes and toys, selecting out my favourites, then adding more!

I did offer to turn the Sasha Village into their retirement home but for some reason she declined my offer!

  1. Such a frustrating treat - I want to ask about lots of them but don't know where to begin!
I love the little refugee labels - especialy QE2's.

  2. I am planning to photograph and describe each and every one of them individually but at the moment I'm still feeling 'proper poorly' from a couple of my 'serious' Arthritic drugs deciding to 'kick off'... so unfortunately everyone/thing is still packed away in their boxes in the middle of the living room until I feel well enough to start to unpack.

    1. I look forward to seeing them all when you are recovered from all your hard work of the weekend.

  3. Get well soon, Kendal! I'm sure the Sashas need to hibernate for a while to get over their modelling at the special weekend.
(My new MS medication is reacting wih the methatrexate (Sp?!)for arthritis, and it is making me itch so much that I can't sleep - sometimes the cure feels at least as bad as the disease, doesn't it?)

  4. Oh, thanks for the get well wishes and may WE say the same back to you. Luckily my home help came over to give me a few extra hours this week so together we have made a start on the unpacking so the actual dolls are now in their favourite rooms...although still lying down until they get the energy to position themselves standing on the tables, shelves, bookcases and chest of drawers etc.

  5. A million thanks to you (and Paul?) for taking these super photos of The Sasha Brood as personally I didn't get to take more than just a few myself.
I was pleased to see that you had spotted (and pointed out to others!) one of my this year's purchases...my little new 'button-nosed girl and congratulations again on noticing the dolls here that haven't as yet been introduced on my blog!
(I'm way behind with my blog posts and still haven't even featured my Sasha birthday gifts!)

    1. IT was all my own work Kendal, for once :) I would have loved to have been able to take each pair or one to a separate place to get a nice clear shot but I knew you'd be the one to get those.
Yes Lady K! The first thing I said on seeing your display was .. there's more dolls here ! and I was right! 8 new dolls have rushed into the Brood since the beginning of the year 8 ! It must be your year for Sasha purchases . I love your new button nosed girl, such a sweet face and the SEVEN others were lovely too! :)

    2. Didn't dare NOT to add and bring along a button nosed doll when I knew that YOU were attending... and luckily Sashadolluk was able to provide me with this one at the last minute.

  6. Eight newbies!!!! Kendal must be making up for last year when she was very good and didn't make many purchases!! I loved the display, I particularly liked how they were standing on books and boxes....I know I said this before, but it was so simple and yet so effective. It's like when you see a shop window display and it's very simplistic and yet it really draws you in!
I loved seeing all the outfits too and it was an added bonus to see some of the girls wearing their ra-ra outfits, another wearing her grapefruit dungarees and another wearing a wig I cut and styled for Kendal...made me feel ever so pleased! :D
I could not pick a favourite girl or boy though if my life depended on it....though I do have some 'bunches' of favourites!
Thanks very much to Kendal and Chon for bringing The Brood to share with us :) and thanks very much to Dee for taking all these lovely photos and posting them on here.

    1. Exactly what I thought! but she tells me it's a swan song before downsizing.. we'll have to wait and see... :)
I saw some wearing your outfits,Sarah's , Ruth's , Jill's and a couple of others, all looking perfect on the brood.

I can pick out a good half dozen favourites without even thinking and then add a few more! I watch Chon faithfully repacking the dolls while Kendal took photo's in her booth or the other dolls attending. xx

    2. I'm here again Sharon apologising profusely about not coming over to speak to you personally as it wasn't until I got home that I realised that you had actually been there! (Was glad though that you noticed some of my girls wearing your dungarees, customised wig and ra-ra outfits.) I tried to use a variety of clothing to say thanks to the seamstresses (who included Ruthsdalls, vintage-sasha, Pinestreetstudios, Karen Warnaka, Marylyn Hotchkiss, Dollydoodles, Jill Mackley, Sashadollstyle, Rosie Shortell, Sashawardrobe, Phyliss Goderk? Passion for Sasha, Dollworks, Petrana/Sasha Doll, Janet Myhill Dabbs and Sheila Vincent) for their fabulous work.

    3. I see you only had the creme de la creme designers on your dolls for this special outing and didn't they all look the bees knees! :)

  7. I used Kendal's blog info from January saying she had 69 dolls, to write the final newsletter, but Janet brought me up to speed!
Such a fabulous group - and beautifully dressed and posed - thank you for sharing Kendal.

    2. Kendal's very quick Tricia, it's hard to keep up to her mischief! ;) She is a wonder at posing her dolls and dressing them and it's always a delight to see whose in what!

  8. Just goes to show you what four months of letting my 'no-buying of Sasha Dolls' will power does when it's not kept firmly in check!
(Thought that perhaps I had better race around the rooms and do a count to double check that all have returned home safely. Pleased to report that all are present and correct...well for the time being before the huge downsizing begins!)

    1. Well goodness Kendal , you could beat my total if let to run amok on the Sasha buying Kendal must have front!
Nice to know they all arrived home safely and cannot quite believe that any great number will be adopted... ;)

  9. I really enjoyed these photos of Kendal's gorgeous brood. I think it is fantastic that new additions made the display. I was there with you Dee when you were picking them out of the group one by one.....The button nose girl is just wonderful and so were all the newbies!!!

Thank you so much for posting the photos which remind me of the wonderful time being with very lovely Sasha friends at Eastwood Manor. :) xxx

    1. Such a wonderful sight wasn't it and yes I was delighted to see that little button nosed miss taking her place amongst the brood holding up the button nose banner, Kendal does have a good eye for a Sasha of quality.
It was a wonderful time :)xxx
