One little no navel standing all alone

I might as well go home!

Two little no navel's only just arrived
already in their VSD's
enjoying the vibe!

Three little no navels looking very dapper
loving the sunny day
and starting to chatter

Four little no navels standing in a line
looking very colourful
and feeling quite devine

Five little no navels three blonde
a brunette a red
will any more arrive before it's time for bed

Six little no navels surely there's no more!
if they keep coming
we'll be falling out the door!

Seven little no navels standing straight and true
if there are any more
they must belong to you!

A FOLLOW ON TO THE ABOVE

Eight Nine Ten little No Navels Kendal's missed the bus

before they make a fuss!!

I would like to thank Gill for loaning me her two no navels in their vsd’s and the use of her conservatory in order to take these photo’s.

  1. I love this but, oh Dee! Please stop it! You are making me want no-navel and I can't afford one.....I might just have to mortgage my mother to pay for one. Any takers? 90 years old, clean, one husband (deceased) and is currently working as a family dishwasher cos we can't afford the electric variety of one of those either...

    1. Jenann what can I say everyone should have at least one no navel in their home! Could you not get your mother to grow her hair really long and maybe try giving you a pixie..ish look?
Or maybe you could rent her out for dish washing? and get her to share her tips!!:)
Failing that You can just look at these and be thankful you don't have to dress them!

    2. Trouble is Dee, Mum was born with a navel....! Mind you, she's 4 inches shorter than she was 10 years ago, so perhaps she'll soon be able to fit into VSDs?
We regularly have to check the dishes washed and secretly re-do them, so I think her employability is limited.
I also want to get an early Gotz but dolly pennies are not available ;( So, I'll just keep looking at your girls.

  2. Just simply wonderful! Love the rhyming and the extra additional doll in each next photo.

These 'vintage-sasha' dungarees perfectly suit these beautifully long, tall and slim No-navel dolls. Must have truly been made for them solely in mind!

If my three had known that there was going to be a No-navel tea party down at Gill's house then they would have been down there too to make the numbers to TEN!

Right now down to brass tacks. Which dolls are yours and which are Gills?

    1. We may have to bring them up to you for a visit and a photo shoot Kendal. I am hoping my daughter can add you girls into the last photo and make the ten!

Gills are the two blondes one in grey and the other in mauve, the rest are mine I must confess :) includes my new brunette girl Winter who arrived along with her blonde Kasha today.
I would like another red but she will be hard to find! I was very taken with Gills blonde with brown eyes and I love your blonde with brown eyes..so I may land up with one..only may...honest!!

    2. As Julie Andrews sang in My Fair Lady....'Oh! Wouldn't that be LOV-ER-LY!'

I have been admiring your new No-navel, Winter, for quite a while as she was getting ready to travel down to you, so great to see that she is finally there and obviously enjoyed sharing the journey to your 'neck of the woods' with Gill's lovely blonde No-navel for company.

I would like to thank you for all the super, 'cheering -up' blog posts this week whilst you have been taking a break from work, especially welcomed as I am still feeling 'proper poorly' so won't unfortunately be producing a blog post myself this Sunday.
